The grouting in the shower could definitely do with a clean, however it was a good shower and the rest was clean.

I didn’t like the short, dark, curly hairs in the shower before I had even used it. I didn’t like the heating being off in the middle of the night. My room was cold and I was uncomfortable.

I liked the very hot shower and the price of the room.

There was a bit of a foul smell coming from the drains, but as it was off season that was probably due to little use. Smell got better after a shower running some water.

Very good connection to town and airport. Incredibly comfortable bed that was made every day. The guy at a reception was absolutely lovely and helpful. The place is dated and not decorated to a high standard but the cleanliness was second to none. If would want high end finishes, you will have to pay more. For us it was perfect and we would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately, we had to move rooms due to a persistent, terrible smell. Once we moved, we realised our original room was TINY in comparison (and not very comfortable). Our second room was much more pleasant with lots of room. Not the most comfortable bathrooms or beds for tall people.

Customer service was excellent! Very friendly greetings whenever we passed and they were a great help with any questions we had regarding our accommodation or holiday plans.

Hotel is what it is, nothing particular we didn't like. Just be aware it's a budget option and set realistic expectations.

We were in Edinburgh for a party on one of the more expensive weekends for accommodation so we were happy to get a room at our preferred budget as we wouldn't be using the space much but did want a private bathroom. The room was hovered, sheets clean, TV worked, bathroom was clean and usable with towels and shampoo/ shower gel available and a hairdryer. Had everything we needed. The location is really good, super space and nice places to eat nearby.

Maybe the mattress needs to be renewed and the bed needs some fixing.

The staff is very kind. The hotel is nice in a very quiet area. I had a view to the park with an amazing sunset view every evening and a very calm and quiet neighborhood. Bit far from the city center but there is a bus directly in front of the hotel or the tram 9 minutes from the hotel, also connecting you directly to the airport. I didn’t mind walking to the city center because it was a nice walk. Also you can go for a walk to the beach in the early morning! The room is good size for 1 person.

You cannot control the heating. The heating was on all night since 5 pm. However, the room was quite cold in the afternoon when I arrived and in the morning when leaving.

The property itself nothing to complain, but keep in mind that if your train journey has a delay and you make the check in before 10pm, they will charge you 10 pound fee without exemptions.

The bedroom was good, confy bed, confy sheets. Location was good too, quiet neighborhood. There’s a park infront of the hotel. Tesco is like 1 or 2 blocks away, pretty convenient.

Poor WiFi. No lift. No breakfast, although Wetherspoons at Foot of the Walk does good food. Bit far out for a late night, trams stop around 11pm, but there are night buses if you know the routes.

Good priced budget hotel with views across Leith Links Park to the city. Easy walk to either tram stop The Shore or Foot of the Walk. Bus route also, to Ocean terminal or the city. Clean and tidy, I stayed 5 nights and was comfortable. Good locals life.
