Entrance was a bit strange to locate as not well Signposted from main road.

Fantastic location for The Excel with great transport links. Hotel facilities were comprehensive, breakfast offered a wide variety of hot and cold items, it was good value for money. Room was large and bright.

No fridge in the room although there was a space for one shower Luke warm but they did try to sort it out, no where in room to hang coats, When we booked it said deluxe twin room with water front view but wouldn't say it was deluxe and definitely not a room with a water front view

Television in the room was really poor - it looked quite modern but no channel worked without stuttering, it wasn't connected to the wifi and we couldn't screen cast to it.

Good price, GREAT location to get into London or to go to City Airport (about 15 min walk), very comfy bed and clean room with a lovely view out to the docks.

Prices have crept up quite alot over past few years. Breakfast can be a bit chaotic, as not much room in food area

Dry bread rolls at breakfast, plates and cutlery taken from table when still in use only part way into sitting.

Location, security inside (pass key for lifts) (patrol cars outside) ease of parking and electrical hook up for car. 7 min walk to 3 different stations (DLR) to city. Would definitely come again. Thames Barrier and IFS cloud cable car to O2 easy walk to.

Unfortunately, we had an adjoining room playing extremely loud music and shouting down the hallway. Whilst this is not the fault of the hotel or staff, it does show that there is sound travel between the rooms and staff need to pay better attention to noise disturbances within the hotel and resolve in a timely manner. The onsite restaurant and bar were very good with decent food options, however, they did lack sufficient allergen information for the breakfast in particular, and improvements could be made.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with the reception staff very welcoming. The hotel was good value for money.

There was nothing we did not like. Everything was great and we did not have anything to complain about. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who has to stay for a few nights in east London.

The room was very nice and cozy. Breakfast was also really nice, there are lots of options to eat. The location is alright, about 20-25 minutes away from the city center by car and it's really close to a tram station.

Room service was poor.AC noise high and control thermostat old tech doesn't allow to control temperature or fan speed level..Noise level should check by hotel.management to.make sure it will meet with standard.. Permitted should allow gust to reduce fan level ...

The heating fan so noisy, unable to turn it down, only auto or off. Once off still could hear others in another room. Hallway was freezing 🥶 No windows that open, so no fresh air. Lights in room, all on or nothing on. Not even bedside lights or reading lamps. Switch lights off, nothing. Had to use the lamp on desk so room wasn't so bright and put it by the bed. Solution found, but surely bed side lamps should have a separate switch from main light switch.

Lovely clean hotel, room nice and roomy. Perfect spot for our needs. Breakfast was good. Very friendly staff.

Dinner in the bar was very basic for the price.

Warm cookie on check in was very much appreciated. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Great buffet breakfast in very nice surroundings. Staff were helpful and friendly. Very convenient for the Excel arena.
