We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe carpet in the room wasn’t fitted properly so was a bit of a trip hazard. Someone in another room were clearly smoking weed and stank out the whole corridor which seeped through to our room. Wasn’t the hotels fault and do not blame them but frustrating regardless. There was a dead bug attached to the lampshade but otherwise the room was great and we had a really great night sleep. It is a far way out from the city centre so be prepared for up to 40 minutes of tubes but the station is right around the corner making it super accessible. Overall it was quiet place to stay away from the hustle and bustle with a great restaurant!
The hotel was great, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was filling and tasty. Bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was great! Lovely river walk to the O2 arena and perfect location to London City Airport!

United KingdomMore hooks for hanging coats or towels in the room. It was raining on arrival and coat hooks in the room would have been helpful to hang our wet coats.
This was a really good location for visiting the O2 for a concert. The hotel room was extremely comfortable, breakfast had a lot of choice and the ‘welcome cookies’ on arrival was a lovely touch.

United KingdomThe DLR was on maintenence work for 2 out of the 3 days of my stay and I am told this is not rare on Saturday and Sunday. Moreover, temporary construction works around nearly isolated the hotel from the easiest access routes from Custom House
Excellent value for money. Top level hotel at the price of a three star inn. Probably ideal if you come to attend a congress in EXCEL or travel to/from the London CVity Airport or anyway when all the public transportation works.

United KingdomRoom was a warm overnight at 23 degrees in end of June and was not soundproof to the next room - Room 451 and 452, could hear entire conversation of the next room. All we needed was a good sleep but was let down by the party in the next room and the heat.
