Lovely, centrally located hotel with exceptional breakfast served in the rooftop with a view over the city, including the Acropolis. Rooms were clean and tasteful. Food and drinks are pricey, but plenty of restaurants all around.

Gorgeous hotel right in the heart of all historical sites, staff were superb and breakfast in the roof terrace was superb. Room was really comfortable with a view of the Acropolis, absolutely stunning - highly recommended

The location is perfect, and everyone working there was incredibly helpful. The sunset from the rooftop is, in my opinion, one of the best in Athens. The breakfast was also absolutely amazing!

I’m sure the spa and indoor pool would have been amazing and was one of the reasons we booked it. However, we hope to come back and use it when it’s remodeled.

We loved the beds, the view from the balcony, the location, and every single staff person was exceptional- from the front desk, Olga to Demetri who helped us with a taxi and our luggage, as well as the housekeeping staff. The restaurant was great both in the garden and the roof top with Acropolis views on the top floor! We especially loved the local accordion player right outside our balcony.

The school next door means the noise of children playing is noticeable during the day but it was not a bother at all.

The reception staff were exceptional, so welcoming and eager to assist for anything they could do. I have stayed in many places and the staff at Electra Palace are among the best. The location is brilliant, safe to walk in the area at night and close to wonderful restaurants and cafes.

The spa, weight room, and indoor pool was closed for renovations. Of course we were not notified until they processed our payment.

The view at the restaurant during breakfast was amazing. Our balcony also had a great view at night. The location is very central to tourist sites.

Breakfast and view was perfect! Location in Plaka was excellent, close to the cathedral and lot of restaurants. Shopping was nearby. Syntagma square was 5-7 minutes walk, which is kind of city central square with a excellent metro connection , including Acropolis station. Acropolis probably a 15 min walk. You can take a train from the airport to Syntagma and walk to this hotel or do a ride share car. We used FreeNow which was easy and cheap.

My mum and I had the most wonderful stay at Electra Palace Athens! From the moment we arrived, we felt like princesses thanks to the incredibly warm and smiley customer service. The staff were always there to check on us, making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself was spotless, very comfortable, and beautifully maintained. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant—absolutely unforgettable! Even though the swimming pool was under renovation, we had access to the pool at the sister hotel, Electra Metropolis, just a short 2-minute walk away, which was a perfect alternative. Overall, we are beyond happy with our stay and will cherish these memories for a long time. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so special!

Lovely hotel at a convincing location, unfortunately, the spa and pool were under construction. We had to leave before breakfast so they made us a beautiful doggy bag of snacks!

Although pre-notified about renovations ongoing, the drilling noise level was at times really loud (we had a room in the first floor) making the stay less relaxing than expected

The breakfast room with view of the Acropolis was wonderful. The food quality and service was excellent. The same room in the evening was just as good, lovely dishes and friendly attentive staff.

If you're sensitive to noise ask for a quit room facing the back of the hotel.
