Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesThe staff is SO UNFRIENDLY.. Good location, the room is so tiny. When you in the toilet 1/3 of your legs are in the bedroom, to take shower you can’t move .. it’s ok to stay one night alone ( NOT A COUPLE ) the bed ( mattress ) was terrible ( inclined ) as a couple was super uncomfortable !!

PhilippinesCleaning is only done after 5-7 days. Towels are non-existent; they give you a big paper towel. You have to bring your rubbish out of the room everyday. Walls super thin. Molds on sealants. No room safe even if the facilities list says it does. WiFi was iffy at some points.

Hong KongIf you’re hardly there and just want a decent sleep for a good price it’s a great solution, but the paper/disposable towels are ridiculous. Why go so cheap? It really undoes the good things to like about the place.
Great location, great value, quite making a great sleep.

TaiwanCouldn’t turn off air conditioning in the room - it was incredibly loud even on the lowest, quietest setting. The towels were also not good enough. I would have brought my own had I known they were single use and essentially paper.
Fantastic location.

BelgiumI think price-quality is pretty okay here. But the thing I dislike most is that the beds are pretty hard.

United KingdomIt was cold in the room in spite of adjusting the AC. The weather in Hong Kong was cold during the visit and the bedclothes are not intended for cooler temperatures.
The design of the room. The clear view of upper Ice House Street towards the Peak.

FranceReally small room, better for solo travelling but not for 2 people. The AC is running 24H and it is extremely cold in the room : impossible to turn it off. They don’t provide real towels or toothbrush so make sure to bring it. The staff also isn’t that friendly.
The location is really good, and you get what you pay for especially in Hong Kong. Lounge area is nice and the room clean.

ThailandWe requested an extended Check-out time. We did mention it during our booking, but we didn't get any feedback. Actually, we were willing to pay extra for the extended period of stay. [late check-out time] We were provided with Paper Tissue Towels instead of Bath Towels.

United StatesThe bathroom had very little privacy and the room is very small, hence the name "mini".
I loved how the hotel was located in downtown and was close to everything. It was very close to Lan Kwai Fong (Bar area). Met plenty of lovely expats and it was very safe area to walk every early hours of the morning.

AustraliaWhen they say “Mini” it’s really mini! Rooms were tiny and staff were not very friendly. No towels provided, only what seems to be very large disposal dry wipes. Tip though, dont follow google maps from central station, you will look like a fool carrying you bags up hundreds of stairs. haha
Good location, walking distance to central station and to the Peak Tram. Okay for very short term stay.

Hong KongOne use bath towels is extremely eco- unfriendly . Cleaning service is only every 5 days which means for my 3 night-stay there’s no cleaning service.

The sitting area is very cozy and nice for a talk or even a meeting. If only anyone could play the grand piano now and then, that would certainly be wonderful. As a singer, I would be joining for sure.

New ZealandTiny cramped rooms. Bathroom and towels with it were inadequate not enough soap. Self check in was a bit painful. There was a staff member there and they could have checked me in far more quickly.
Cheap bolt hole for a very brief stay. Close to where I needed to be. This is a discount option and you kind of get what you pay for.

SingaporeThe "bathroom" was incredibly small, and it was a struggle to find an easy way to shower in the space without simply holding the shower head with 1 hand while washing with the other. The "towels" are glorified kitchen towels - do yourself a favour and bring your own. You'll dry quicker, and it's much better for the environment (as I believe theirs are single use)
The hotel is in a great location, a few short walk from nightlife, MTR & ferries. It is fantastic value for money and the reception staff were lovely.
