Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaTaxis aren't allowed to stop immediately outside the hotel on Ice House Street. If you have luggage, you're best to tell the driver to drop you at the FCC (Foreign Correspondents Club) even if that means taking Glenealy or Hollywood Road to Lower Albert Road. It would be great to have 1-2 English channels on the TV and the mattress was a little firm for my liking but in the scheme of things, these are very minor.
This is the best value for money accommodation in Central HK. If you're simply looking for a place to crash, then this the Mini has your number!

SingaporeRooms are miniscule and offer no privacy (not even curtain/blinders between shower/toilet and bed, nor a table or a chair. It's a bed with a toilet. Walls are paperthin and hence very noisy stay. No COFFEE makers/safe/fridge in the rooms nor the common area.
Right next to Wyndham street and LKF - very central for both business and leisure

Australia1. Getting to Mini Central, even though its “central” to everything, it is up on a hill so walking with suitcases was a work out on the legs. 2. Rooms are basically 2 metres x 2 metres. Toilet and shower are also connected to the rook which make the room damp. 3. When the room got damp, the wooden floorboards would get damp and would squish down. When they would squish down, old water would come up through the cracks, and that old water would be dirty as we chucked a towel on the ground to soak it up and the water was brown stained on the towel. 4. Our pillow had a blood stain on it as we first arrived and we wondered if the bed sheets actually got changed. 5. The air conditioning temperature had a temperature change switch but it did not change so it was permanently stuck on the coldest temperature. 6. Be prepared that they do not clean your room if you stay below 14 days, and even then it is only changing the sheets once per week. 7. I think it is also the smallest sink I have seen in my life.
1. Location is super central. Right near the train station, also right next to Lan Kwai Fong for some nice bars and food. 2. Staff were also friendly at the front counter and when you asked for something there was no questions asked and they gave you items straight away. 3. Water refill station in the lobby that also had hot and cold water 4. For the location, it is actually the cheapest place available, so you do get what your paying for.

Philippinesit's right in Central, but it's not accessible per se because of all the stairs to get to the actual entryway. Intend to move around light if you're staying here

United StatesOn arrival, you have to lug your luggage up a flight of narrow stairs from the street. (Luckily a staff member saw me struggling and came outside to help.). The carpets are kind of grimy, and there was a slow link in the bathroom that needed fixing. Elevators are hit-and-miss. (They'll sometimes pass your floor.) There's no mirror in the bathroom. There's a laundry for use -- a couple of washers and dryers -- but it's on the rooftop where the weather is miserable in the winter cold and summer heat.
Excellent location in Hong Kong central. Rooms are very "mini," but if you're just sleeping there and you're traveling alone, so what? The staff are pleasant and go out of their way to help. I've stayed there many times and can't imagine finding a room in a central location in a major city at a similar price.
