This place was wonderful. A bright, spacious, minimalist room where everything was clean and smelled pleasant. It’s located on the main street, not far from Padang Padang Beach. Popular spots are nearby, yet despite that, it was very quiet — no noise at all. A lovely place and experience.

This property was exceptional. The staff were amazing and nothing was an issue. The rooms and grounds are spotless!! I will definitely be returning. The location is brilliant with shopping, services, medical and minimart in short walking distance. Cannot rate this accommodation highly enough. Namaste.

Very heavy snel from drainage in room. Little cockroaches in the room and staff reacted to it if its normal and offered us a bug spray..

I LOVED everything from the friendly staff, to the comfortable beds and extra amenities like a cute eye mask and earplugs provided for you. The location was perfect easy to walk to all the great restaurants and clubs. However because it’s based up the back on a high driveway at night it still feels quiet and private. They have hired motorbikes and great brekkie !

Location. It’s excellent to all amenities. Close access to restaurants, cafes. The staff here are excellent. Can’t say enough about them.

It was a truly amazing stay!

What a beautiful property! From the time you walk in we were amazed by the design of the hotel and blown away by the service. Everyone was so friendly and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time at Amara! The location is also great, with many shops and restaurants at your doorstep. The breakfast was so delicious (and beautiful!) and easily ordered from their app. The staff gave us great recommendations for beaches, restaurants and places to check out. We would have loved to spend more time at Amara and would happily return in a heartbeat. There are many options in Uluwatu, and Amara is top-notch!

Lack of privacy - hotel is small, territory is around pool, so if you take standard room, you will need curtains all day long to hide from eyes. So advice to take more expensive room in this hotel (second floor) I killed 3 little spiders))

incredible staff, will do anything for you. the place is even more beautiful than the photos! very aesthetic. very good location, everything you need is close by (restaurants, beaches, shopping, massage etc), it’s in the happening area if you like that which we really did. they have scooters for rent. best out of our 3 accomodations in ulu!

A little close to the road with noise but honestly wasn’t too bad.

The property is in a great location nearby to many popular bars and restaurants. Also walkable to Padang Padang Beach. Staff was always so kind and helpful. They made our stay so great.

The location, the rooms and the staff are all 10/10. I stayed here twice during my time in Bali - the first time for 16 days, half in the suite and half in the apartment (I got an upgrade from the staff which was incredible). On my return, I booked the pool room which I think is the cheapest but it was still incredible so whatever room you book I’m pretty confident you’ll be more than happy. The staff go above and beyond and when I returned it really was like going home. The Amara will always be my go to if I’m in Uluwatu. Book this hotel - you won’t be disappointed (I have really high standards and absolutely no complaints). Thank you to the team for the most enjoyable stay.
