Although not far from beach, this area of beach is in Central section so not many bars/ restaurants very close but that is only complaint

Lovely small hotel in quiet location a few hundred yards from beach. Got free upgrade to poolside room which you literally step from terrace into the pool. Room excellent with plenty of space and modern bathroom including rain shower and tub. Onsite restaurant which we only used for breakfast but this was all good.

Overall, everything was excellent. However, the sliding and closet doors in the bathroom had difficulty opening fully.

Soundproofing for the air conditioning system could be improved to increase comfort for sound sensitive guests.

We stayed six nights at Anja. It was a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is competent and serve with concern and smile on everyone . Rooms are big, clean and well furbished. The breakfast and other meals are simple, well prepared and tasty. The giant pool provided excellent possibilities for swimming and sunbathing.

Laundry cost us around $60 plus Aussie dollars. We got express as we were moving to another location next morning, But that’s not on the hotel.

As the other reviewers pointed out, the room smelled moldy when we arrived, and more light is needed in the room. No Mini-mart or shops nearby.

2-minute walk to Jimbaran Beach (with beautiful sunset on good days, but no so crowded), well-designed and tidy building, clean room (with comfortable beds, powerful air-conditioning and dehumidifier), spacious bathroom (with strong hot water flow), great swimming pool, widescreen TV with multilingual channels, great breakfast (select yours in advance from the >10 options. We arrived late around noon due to the cancelled flights, they prepared breakfast for us!), friendly staff. Manja Restaurant downstairs (providing the breakfast) is nice and open till midnight. Another famous restaurant (expensive) is just across the road.

The breakfast was not good. I ordered the shakshuka, which was just egg in tomato sauce and way too salty. My wife’s eggs Benedict were covered in thousand island dressing. That was the only negative experience we had during our stay.

I asked a couple of times for staff to heat my baby's food that I brought from home but they didn't seem to listen/understand so it was too hot. Could have more sunbeds around pool and umbrellas.

Pick up from airport was fantastic, from communication to clean car inc. baby seat and very friendly driver. Hotel inc. room, pool, restaurant all very clean. There is a baby room with toys that is great. Location a couple of mins walk to the beach with many food and drinks options.

Poor lighting in our room,especially with the curtains closed. We handled it,didn't want to complain about that. If you don't mind kids splashing around in the morning and during the day in the pool,that's OK,as it didn't bother us. If you want more quiet time, lagoon and garden pool side would not suit you.

We had a lagoon room,close to the reception, as we requested was fantastic. We had breakfast included, and we enjoyed the different selections (we aint fussy, greatful we had breakfast ready). The staff were friendly,kind, and helpful. 5-minute walk to Jimbaran Beach was great. Very clean and tidy room,big enough for me and my partner. The bathroom was also big enough. The pool side was great. We would recommend this hotel, if you want some days during your holidays to chill out.No swim up bar,but that didn't bother us,drinks were brought to the pool.

The food at the hotel restorant is not tasty.

Two minutes to the beach on a quiet street. The beach is also quiet and pleasant. Large pool, shaded most of the day, with cool ottomans for swimming. The room is large and clean.

Rooms at the front are close to the road so some traffic noise so next time would choose a room further back away from the road

Rooms were great authentic Indonesian style, Pool location beautiful. Staff very helpful and went out of their way to do whatever they could to help.
