Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Can't really walk to anything. But grab and Gojek have no trouble finding it.
The owners and staff are delightful, friendly and helpful. . This is a very nice place to stay.

The staff were outstanding, especially Wayan is a beautiful soul. He went above and beyond for making us comfortable and safe. Also his buddy Mr Kresta had been amazing in giving us his company as chauffeur and trusted guide throughout our stay. Thank you both of you :)

There were some water leakages in the bathroom. There are no closeby restaurants or shops, you need a scooter or taxi to move around.
The owner and the staff were incredibly friendly, gave us a lot of recommendations and were flexible with breakfast and checkout times. They made our stay so pleasant that we decided to stay one night longer. The room was very spacious, with a view on the swimming pool and nature around. Far from the main road, so it was very silent. Possibility to rent a scooter at the Villa.

Just the bathroom could have honestly been cleaner. There were some water stains on the floor and not the cleanest toilet. But in my opinion still fine.
The owners were incredibly nice and accomodating. The room was clean, all good!

Location isn't great as you cannot walk to places.
Hosts were absolutely amazing and always asked what I had been up to or where I was going to explore. Great value for money.

Privacy can be an issue since the ground floor rooms are facing the main courtyard and everyone can see into your room. The hotel staff is a little chaotic.
Good value for money. Overall nice and cosy villa. Very clean.

The kitchen was sometimes a bit dirty, it just needed a deep clean but we didn’t use it too much. It was too far to walk anywhere but grab/ hire motorbike was easy.
The family were so lovely, always asking us about or day and giving us recommendations about where to go. The rooms were clean and the pool was lovely

The room cleaning everyday is not done properly. Breakfast pictures as shown are a little misleading as it very frugal while it is served very affectionately. Towels were very poor standard...old and had holes. The drive to the property is on a very bad road and Google takes you to some very narrow alleys to get there!!
It's a nice place with an excellent positive and proactive owner and his family who are there to help you during the stay. Basic facilities are good however with time property is deteriorating I guess. Overall decent play to stay!

The tap in the bathroom needs an upgrade and the shower head too was old and crusty.
The owners were really nice and helpful. Very accommodating. Price was very reasonable.

Being there during the national school holidays. Some of the other guests (Indonesians from out of town, whole families) were leaving their mess in the common areas, being noisy and crass, blocking the access to my room, blocking my motorbike in the parking area. After they left, the place was great. Something in the bathroom kept leaking water (clean) so the bathroom floor was always a bit wet on one side, despite me leaving the extractor fan on all the time.
Spacious room, great price, friendly hosts, nice little pool.

The AC made a lot of noise, that was a bit annoying. It's a hotel where a lot of locals stay so there can be some noise, we came back one evening and there were 15 locals sitting in front of our door.. It would be nice not to allow children in the pool at 06:30 AM, so that the other guests could sleep.... Location was not that great but we could've known that. Only cafe/warung close is a place that's full of Russians. The breakfast was not great, but after we gave some tips it really improved. Sometimes we only got scrambled eggs and 1 piece of toast and 5 bananas, but the last day we got scrambled eggs, a nice fruit plate, butter, jam and 2 toasts. But it doesn't really feel like a good price for what you get.
The owners were very sweet. Spacious room and very dark curtains, which is nice. The bathroom was pretty, but we had to wait 5 mins every time until the water gets hot, which felt like a waste of water. :(

The location is a little far out and can be difficult to find however there are signs for it. It’s a quiet area however there are chickens that make a fair bit of noise in the night.
Very clean, bed sheets and towels were freshly washed, great air con and good wifi. Owners are really welcoming and friendly.
