I don't like to come back home :(

Everything was perfect, the highest level of hospitality. A piece of heaven that is more comfortable than home. Everywhere you are in the hotel, you see a beautiful smile, and they know you by name. A very excellent tour guide, Mr. Putu Yogi Suputra accompanied us and in the restaurant, Ms. Eva was very professional.

The room was a little dark, but very cozy. Instead of having the door near the front, which blocks the view, I would suggest installing a floor-to-ceiling plate glass window. This would allow you to enjoy the view of the rainforest from your bed and bring in much more natural light during the day. I don’t think you need the door, as there is already one to the right that leads to the villa's pool.

It was truly a magical experience, hidden away in the rainforest. Our villa was beautifully adorned with Balinese wood carvings and featured a private pool. The bathroom was spacious, with a generous double sink. I especially loved that it had a separate area for getting dressed while enjoying the view. It was so peaceful to hear the river gently babbling nearby. I spent an entire day just taking in the view. I would say this was one of my favourite stays, and I hope to return soon!

The location was beautiful, set in the jungle we had amazing views, very tranquil and relaxing. The staff were amazing, very kind and attentive especially with our baby which made for a wonderful holiday! Food was excellent. Also loved the spa facilities, we enjoyed some much needed massages!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the stunning Ayung Resort in Ubud, Bali, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with the warmest welcome by the friendly and accommodating staff, setting the tone for an exceptional stay. The resort itself is a paradise. My room was spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean, with a private balcony offering breathtaking views of the lush jungle. Waking up to that serene scenery was pure bliss. The restaurant is another highlight—a true culinary delight! The food was beyond amazing, and the views from the dining area made every meal unforgettable. Every bite felt like a celebration of flavors, and I genuinely looked forward to every dining experience. One of the unique touches was the photo shoot, which was such a thoughtful and memorable addition to my stay. It’s little details like this that truly set Ayung Resort apart. Another standout experience was the spa. I had the Heavenly Package at their DEWI Spa, and I swear to God, I haven’t felt so relaxed in over a decade. The resort is really nice and it was quiet when we were staying there so pools were never busy. It is out of the city and therefore a quiet location, but getting taxis is easy via the grab app. We did some of the excursions organised by the hotel- the bicycle tour was our favourite - make sure you bring some cash to buy some of the local black bee honey.

It was quiet and private. I didn’t love the Javanese influenced art and sculpture as I prefer the traditional Balinese aesthetic.

There is nothing to really dislike. There are some sculptures & art pieces that may not be to everyone’s taste but there is so much more to love about this hotel. All at a great price. You do see monkeys but they didn’t bother me at all - they were at a distance & you are staying in the jungle. The hotel is steep (built on the side of a hill over looking the jungle & the river) but that shouldn’t be a problem for anyone as the hotel has golf buggies that can move you around the hotel. They are more than happy to do this for you.

I really loved the gardens at Ayung Resort. It’s an amazing oasis set right in the jungle. The gardens are also immaculately maintained. The other stand out feature for me was the restaurant. The food was delicious. There is a wide variety to choose from. Breakfast is very generous. I am a coeliac & the staff went out of their way to ensure that I could have gluten free food that was presented so beautifully & really really tasty. I opted to eat Indonesia food each evening. The staff were just lovely too. Caring, kind & always polite. Ubud really has the true feeling of Bali. My room had a great view out over the pool & into the jungle. The room was clean & was a large size with a large bathroom.

Water from tap not safe to drink. They provided drinking water but no warning and we ended up with bad diarrhoea.

a wonderful experience!!! everything was perfect!! the location in a dream landscape, the staff very kind. very clean rooms!! the restaurant is very elegant, located in a building with a very beautiful view. although it is an a-la-carte restaurant, they have many very good dishes. congratulations to the chef!! we recommend choosing the organized trips with transport provided by the hotel, the drivers are very kind, speak English very well and are very communicative! it is true that you can find slightly better prices if you choose the local travel agencies that organize such trips, but the difference of 10-15 euros is worth everything!! we stayed only 4 nights but we felt great and we will definitely come back to this hotel!!

Beautiful setting and location with free shuttle service into Ubud Centre. The breakfasts and evening meals were of a high quality standard with plenty of choice. Staff were very attentive and were so helpful. Would certainly use the Ayung again.

Very good spa experience and even though at first the massage was supposed to be indoor they managed to accommodate and do it outside : however no outside option for the flower bath unfortunately. With such a great environment with the sound of the river rushing nearby, it would be such an amazing upgrade to be able to do the full experience to the sound of nature and the breeze of the wind outside !

Fantastic hotel nestled in the lush greenery ! Outside of the hustle and bustle of ubud yet can conveniently reach all the places worth to visit around there. Beautiful and relaxing infinity pool with 180 view on the jungle :) FANTASTIC FRIENDLY STAFF AND TOP-NOTCH SERVICE!!! from the restaurant reception and buggy drivers :)
