Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe pool was clean and the pool bar was fairly busy most of the time, if I had one gripe about the pool bar is that at times only one person serving which is not good when the majority of people were ordering cocktails, you had to wait quite a while for a beer. We also felt at times that the staff were not quite as aware as they should have been as twice we went to the beach restaurant for a drink and a light lunch and had to go to the bar to get service, not a problem but where there are four members of staff stood talking and doing nothing it makes you wonder, also we had to take our glasses back to the bar (and order another drink) which was annoying Would have been nice to have an information sheet in the room with a resort map, detailing where the restaurants are, what activities are available and where to book them and were the local amenities are (chemist for example).
Breakfast was superb, three restaurants on site all good, room was very spacious and clean, close to a very good supermarket other restaurants and tour providers (drivers), we used the tour company directly across the road and he was very helpful. We had a dinner on the beach for a special occasion and the whole experience was fantastic, the food was amazing. Pool was good, managed to find shade to sit under and it's good that they have a pool bar to get a cool drink when you need one. Staff very friendly and most spoke English.

United KingdomNoise. The constant music being played in various venues around the property. 1970s loud music in the bar seemed completely inappropriate and a chill out play list would have been more suitable.
The highlight of my stay was the staff, particularly Putri Ayu on the front desk. She was of great help to me and so friendly, patient and understanding. I had some personal difficulties and she did everything she could to assist me and make my stay very special. Thank you. Also Sinta and Andres in the restaurant, head receptionist at the Spa and Egi my room cleaner. Thank you all. My driver, Phutuera, apologies as I may have misspelt his name, who took me to the airport when I left. His English was excellent and his help was invaluable to me at the airport including organising a porter. The bungalow rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed is comfortable. The added bonus is a large outside terrace overlooking tropical gardens. My air-conditioning was not working but this was repaired very quickly. However in my room there is an interconnecting door and if I did not use a white noise sound box at night I would have been disturbed by the guests in the next room. I preferred not to be moved due to the fact I had been travelling for a number of weeks and was happy with the position of my terrace not b eing overlooked and away from the food and beverage areas but close enough to the beach which I visited during the day.

AustraliaMosquitoes in the room also found tiny little spiders in the bed. The shower had a damp sewer smell and the bath tub was not the cleanest. The wooden bed heads need good clean spots of mould found on them.
Very relaxing, comfortable beds, plenty of food to choose from for breakfast, lunch & Dinner. The staff were friendly. The gardens were beautiful.

United KingdomThe dinner was little difficult for my wife as the veggi option are limited. I would suggest to have bit more veggi or vegan dishes as this would help.
The hotel was better then we expected and where it was located. The hotel joins the beach and the path takes you across all the other hotels in that line. Breakfast was amazing with lovely see view. Our special dinner on beach was amazing.

AustraliaI found the food quite underwhelming at the resort. Breakfast was fine, but each time I ordered at the various restaurants or room service it was ok, but generally a bit "meh". I tried a few local places and actually really loved Warung Liberdade, which was about 200m down the road. The food there was excellent, the staff were so lovely and the prices were right. Also, massage at Susan Spa (about 500m down the road, just keep walking past the Warung Liberdade) was fantastic for 100,000 for 60 minutes! Also, I was savaged my mosquitos at the hotel. I can only assume this was happening while I was sleeping, because there just weren't that many occasions for it to be happening while sitting outside, I would have felt myself getting bitten. I have more bites than I can count which is obviously uncomfortable. Usually hotels spray their grounds, so I don't know whether this isn't done, or if the mosquitos were just bad due to the wet season, but I've brought home far more bites than I would like to be dealing with.
My stay at Bali Tropic was comfortable. The pool was lovely, pool bar was plenty of fun (but watch out, the bartender is persuasive when it comes to "another round?") and the large convenience store directly across the road is super convenient. Loved the addition of the Australian power outlet in the bedside table! Turns out I didn't need to pack an adaptor! I also really loved the sustainable approach the hotel took, with metal water bottles in the room and filtered water fountains in the hallways. No daily plastic water bottles and no feeling limited in terms of how much water you can access without having to buy it.

AustraliaAll the staff were exceptional EXCEPT reception staff. I found every single one of them quite arrogant, unhelpful and borderline rude (all except Dewa who was lovely). The location wasnt super convenient - you still needed to catch a Taxi if you wanted to go to a decent restaurant or bar outside of the venue.
The property itself is beautiful, well maintained. All restaurant, bar, housekeeping, maintenance staff were absolutely exceptional. Always polite, kind and accomodating. No matter what you were always greeted with a warm smile and I found it easy to communicate based on everyone’s level of English

HungaryThe rooms need a bit of airco maintenance I think, our second room's airco was dripping and I could spot some mold under the wooden ceiling at the entrance area. Nothing that can not be fixed with a bit of extra cleaning. Some other hotel guests abused their right of "all inclusive" and was quite disturbing to hear drunken people being too loud in the middle of the day by the pool bar.
This was our first hotel on our holiday in Bali. The area is nice, there is a long walking path along the beaches and you can also rent a bike. As it was rainy season we had a bit of a rain every day, but still could spend nice time by the pool. Unfortunately our first room, arrived late night, was smelling like mold and it was cold and humid, but next day we got to changed to another room. Breakfast is plenty, really appreciate the cold room for food that should be in cold. They have 2 restaurants, one open 24/7, gym overlooking the sea, pool table and pingpong. The hotel is happy to arrange different activities also. Every staff member was super nice, always smiling and friendly.

AustraliaThe food/restaurants were average in the resort- okay for convenience and easy access. Better to go out of the resort and find other Warungs for more affordable and better quality food.
The resort was massive, had many facilities and activities (though at an extra cost). It is perfect for a family trip. There is a convenient store right across the main reception which was very convenient - we went there multiple times to get snacks, toiletries, bottles of water, etc. Not in walking distance to other touristy attractions, but easy to get grab/Gojecks from the resort to other places of interest in Nusa Dua.

SwitzerlandThe Spa closed at 5pm. A small thing really but longer opening times would have suited me better.
Beautifully kept resort with an authentic Balinese style. The staff are gracious and friendly, especially Sinta. The room was lovely and well equipped with a spacious, furnished balcony. Housekeeping is very good. There's a big supermarket across the road. While the location is quiet, it's walking distance both on the beach and street side to restaurants/bars. The beach front restaurant at the hotel was great. The breakfast buffet has a large selection and food to suit everyone. The spa is excellent. I especially loved the pool. There is a stunning temple in the grounds.

PortugalThe man at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming, very automatic and despite having sent a message asking for an earlier check in, if possible, since we were moving already from another hotel and were on out way, our room wasn’t available until 3PM, sharp. We had to wait for three hours at the reception. The woman who accompanied us to the room didn’t smell good, the room didn’t smell good when we arrived. On the following day we had to call the reception in order to have the room cleaned at 3PM even though we had left it in the morning around 8:30PM. They said they had a lot of work (!).
The gardens were immaculately cared.
