The rooms did not look like the photos provided. When we asked if we could change rooms and pay for the upgrade, we were told there was nothing available. Therefore we booked a different hotel to stay at, when we tried to check out they then said they could give us a different room. Too late. The rooms smelt like mildew and did not feel clean.

Techno music DJ playing open air twice a week (sun,wed) at Single Fin bar until 4 am. Could not sleep because of the heavy beats. The resort should inform potential clients on there web site about that.

Beautiful location, great views on the see. Room was spacious and good. Staf was very friendly and helpfull. Restaurant food was good and great vieuw on the see. Love te infinity pool, sit ther and order drinks and food. Enjoyed resort during daytime but for me terrible at night. Good for people who like to party until 4 am.

Scruffy, dirty, in bad need of repair. Infinity pool didn’t belong to hotel but that’s where breakfast and a welcome cocktail was served. Didn’t feel safe beyond the metal barrier of the hotel…. Couldn’t get a grab because the local taxi guys “own” the road, so more expensive than normal taxi and it was 15 mins later after booking with the hotel. Had to sign a disclaimer if the bed sheets were stained- they were stained and the mosquito nets were all ripped when we arrived. Didn’t get the junior suite we’d booked with the bath and ocean view…. They said they’d upgraded us- room was nice but dark and huge gaps in the doors and windows for mosquitoes to enter. Can’t leave anything on the balcony due to the monkeys! And there’s lots of them. This hotel is boarding on being derelict. Many tiles missing from the pool and only 5 umbrellas around the pool. Avoid this hotel!

Not much… thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staff and amenities were great. Couldn’t fault the breakfast which came with our booking. Easy access to the pool and walking distance to some really nice restaurants.

When you check out, you have to wait for them to check your room, if they find any stains on sheets, towels etc, they will charge you, even though it may disappear in the wash. I have never experienced this system, and it made me feel like they were looking to charge you extra. I was questioning this, because usually hotels just let you check out, and that's it. Unfortunately this made the check out feel stressful, and made me annoyed. Also I had arranged a late check out, but they called me saying if I stayed longer they would charge extra. So communication between the employees seemed off. I will not go there again. Also saw them laughing when I left the front desk.

The place is bit more run down than the photos advertise. They were also doing building work next to our room quite early in the morning while we stayed which was wasn’t very relaxing. First night we stayed there was loud music until 2am from the beach bar.

There was a leaking outside at our door and it looked very dangerous. It was raining so much and it looked like the building was going to collapse at any moment. The building is also very old, it needs a really good renovation. Breakfast is good but I really missed more fruit options. I also got a massage at the spa and it was not good, I felt like the professional was counting the minutes to end soon and she was not very professional at all.

Great location and pool area, staffs are so nice. Also nice view to the cliffs and good options for breakfast.

Ok there is no way to not complaint about this . The shower is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. It’s so low !!! And attached to the wall you must squat to shower. Please note I’m a short woman and I was very uncomfortable. My boyfriend could not shower comfortably. The shower curtain was dirty too and keep sticking to us which made all a very unpleasant experience. On the first minutes I arrived in the room and went to take a shower I was shocked. So I called reception and asked if I could be allocated to a room with a normal shower . She said that no and that ALL SHOWERS IN THE HOTEL ARE LIKE THIS. These were her words . So I’d not stay here anymore

The location is what made me book here cause we wanted to be close to the surf. Also I love Single Fin and one of the pools is shared with Single Fin

The air conditioner doesn’t work very well, it needs to be serviced and cleaned to service such a large room, it smelt musty all of the time and our towels and clothes didn’t really dry. It’s also interesting none of the reviews had anything about music in them, we stayed in a garden view room and could hear the music from single Finn until 10pm every night and also a nightclub up the road. The door from the balcony was banging from the wind, so I put a face washer in the crack to stop the noise. I was then charged $10 to replace it when I left.

The location is fantastic and the hotel staff were very lovely. The breakfast included was always stocked and tasted fantastic - nothing to fault. The view from the restaurant is amazing.

Property is lovely, the breakfast is really good, good selection, room is nice and spacious but the monkeys do be on your balcony trying to get in, two pools are really nice but the main pool is shared with single fin beach club so you can’t use the sun loungers until 11am. The staff are amazing so helpful and friendly. The spa is lovely and for a great price. Location is really good close to lots of nice restaurants

Sharing the beautiful pool area over looking the ocean with Single Finn. You need to book one day in advanced to secure a spot for a day bed. You cannot book on the day even if there is no one there. I booked a garden view room and it was poor and the room was out dated. The room Was very dark with no natural sunlight and you couldn’t go out to the balcony without the monkeys being around. I requested another suite which I was super pleased with and it was only $15 AUD extra and it was a smooth transition to move rooms. Beautiful views of the ocean. The resort provide two bottles of water per day. Need more. Bring your own mosquito repellant as the resort does not provide it. The gardens were very sad and not maintained on a regular basis. Another note, room service were unprofessional when providing me with my food. Two staff female’s members came into my room and began to look at my items, suitcase and my partner who was injured in bed sleeping while I was grabbing the money to pay them. They continued to speak in their language and began to laugh. Super unprofessional. If you want to relax go elsewhere as single fin is super loud with the bass on some week nights.

Resort being close to shops and blue point beach. Great walking distance. The restaurant had delicious food and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The property is located in such a beautiful area and the only area that looks nice if the reception area, wedding room, restaurant and pool out the front. Amazing place to watch the sunset.
