We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LithuaniaThere is huge construction just in front, literally one meter from the pool, where are working at least 30 - 40 men from 8am till 5pm every single day (on weekends too). So the noise is always during those hours. The hotel should change the name - as the hotel is not Dreamland view anymore. Now it’s Construction View and that’s a pity!!! Before this construction I believe it was very nice place.
Great location and nice staff. Also there is kitchen in the terrace on the roof. The room big. But…

Russiamoldy smell in the room. and stains everywhere - from curtains to walls. there was a fly under the pillowcase, old and dead. outside the window - they promised a view of the sea, but there was a construction site and builders. The only plus is the location. and I did not spend the night there - I left.

AustraliaThe construction was really frustrating. All day long and right outside my room and also right by the pool so there was no relaxing happening here. I felt like I needed to be away from my room all day as the construction was so loud. On the last day of my stay, I found small white ants in my bed - in the sheets, on the pillows. My skin broke out in a rash when I started staying there and nothing in my routine changed - I never ever have skin problems. The internet isn’t the best if you need to work from your laptop at all.. I was kicked off zoom meetings and my laptop struggled to reconnect to the wifi.
The accommodation is in a really nice spot and the staff were amazing, so helpful and super nice.

United KingdomMajor construction work going on right outside, one day it started at 8:30am and didn’t stop til 9pm!!! Couldn’t sit by the pool or relax at all.
Location is ok if you have a moped/car, lovely pool (although we couldn’t use it as construction workers were building within a metre), very spacious and clean rooms.

SpainThere are construction works just next to the hotel. They are building a new villa / hotel there. So the view from my room was half closed with the new building and I could hear all noise coming from there. Not Dream view at all((( I stayed at the room number 3 on the first floor. There is humidity in the room, smells bad. The curtains have mould, are to be replaced. At night there are mosquitoes. High price for this.

JerseyThe treatment, false advertising and grubby rooms
I would not recommend staying here, the bedroom is not as per the picture, the bathroom needs serious attention and more to the point there is constant building work going on all day which means you can’t stay at the hotel pool during the day and relax unless you don’t mind being disturbed by constant clanging. The beach nearby is dirty and really not an alternative. The hotel don’t seem to care about their guests and will not give you a refund should you not be happy with this. I checked in on a Sunday, ended up having to move hotels but did not receive any refund even though the marketing manager who is apparently in control of refunds couldn’t answer his /her phone despite the reception contacting them several times.

CanadaLocation is sort of far from restaurants/beaches. Absolutely need a scooter to get around. No nearby restaurants really. New construction of a building that may affect the view of the ocean.
Stunning pool area with room opening up right onto it. Great WiFi. Huge room with good hot water. Modern furnishings and comfortable bed. Desk in room. Good AC.

United KingdomI am shocked to see all the good reviews....I personally rely on reviews and this hotel was the biggest let down of all. The location is in the middle of nowhere, on a hill. There aren't shops, restaurants or coffees in walking distance not to mention the beach which meant to be 300m away, however in reality it's more than a km and a very hilly walk. You can't get anywhere without a scooter or a car. Parking space limielted. After I checked in I was unable to find food and had to order from a local uber eats which only accepted cash however no cash machine near or at the hotel. I ran out of cash the same night. Hotel does not provide food not even snacks. I did not receive beach towels unlike mentioned on the website. There are loud construction works right in front of the hotel. Kind of blocking the "dreamview" I was expecting. I had cockroaches and geckos in my bedroom and checked out the next day. The hotel refused to refund my money even partially despite the fact that the hotel description is false. All in all, the price is a rip off, for half price you can book in Kuta where you find restaurants and nice bars etc.
Nothing.

United KingdomBathroom had a bad smell We left our bags with reception on day of check out as we weren't flying till the afternoon. When we returned our money had been taken (only around £45) but more the principle that we trusted the staff to not take it from our bag. When questioned the staff they denied it.
Location was good and view was nice. Shower was really good .

AustraliaNeed additional toilet paper in rooms. Every room should have a fridge as top floor rooms didn't. Communal area should have milk for tea and coffee and additional PowerPoint's so both appliances can operate at the same time. Road surface at entrance is slippery.
Staff were excellent. Area was well kept and clean. Very helpful in any request and fantastic knowledge of the area for food and places to visit. Special thank you to Megga who was amazing and so helpful and made the stay wonderful.

South AfricaOkay where to begin - the staff didn't clean the room once. There are insects and such in the rooms, there was a cockroach in my bed on the last night and a spider as well. Cobwebs all over the place. It's a tropical environment but this is no excuse to have cobwebs all over the room? The plumbing is awful. The bathroom is designed in horrible fashion so that when you shower the floor around the toilet and basin also get wet and stay that way for a good few hours. The entire bathroom situation is awful and the drains are not cleaned thus the water pools everywhere. The staff also seem like a sort of locker room brigade. They make jokes with each other and sort of lounge around like they have nothing better to do. Makes sense since they don't clean the rooms or drains properly that they have so much time to spare. We contacted the property ahead of time for early check-in and they didn't reply. When we arrived we got some lame excuse from the manager that a team in Portugal runs it and that's why there was no response. This is unacceptable, the number on Booking.com should go straight to the property. The pool is nice but the view is bad because of the construction - it's not their fault but it does detract. The kitchen upstairs is pathetic. Grimey and ill-equipped (doesn't even have forks, had to eat my pasta with a spoon). To me it's a sad excuse for a place and should not even cost half of what it does. These are the types of things you'd expect in a hostel. I would exhaust all other options if I were you.
It's a conveniently located spot with decently sized rooms.

United StatesAs you approach the hotel you see gigantic blinds covering the exterior of the hotel and they are all broken. Looks horrible. The bathroom drainage was terrible, when taking a shower the water almost started to overflow into the bedroom. Took hours to drain.
Beautiful views except for the home being built right in front of the hotel. The staff were great.

BelgiumWe only stayed 30 min, time to look for another hotel to stay. Misleading photos on Booking. The hotel is outdated, cold rooms and stains on the bed. This hotel does not deserve any star. No soundproofing. The only thing that could make up for the rest is the view (if you stay on the top floor otherwise not at all). But this view is spoiled by a building site that has barely begun (just below the hotel) which will last for years to come. Not to mention the noise, the lack of privatization (with the workers below the balcony or the swimming pool) and the torn pieces of black fabric hanging all over the hotel to hide the view. A nightmare that quickly ended for us except that now no one answers us about the refund…
