Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Australianothing much to not like, although we were only there for the day
staff are absolutely lovely. we used this bungalow as a daytime rest stop before a late night flight back home so we didn’t stay overnight, but if we were to stay, I’m sure it would’ve been lovely. it’s so quiet and chill

Polandno AC can be tough sometimes. you adjust after one two days then is ok. guys in the restaurant were alone sometimes not enough staff that’s not their fault but management probably. that made service slightly slower than shall be
Great eco friendly design. Fine pool you can swim, probably the biggest around. No AC in the bungalow which was a minus. Close to the beach. Beautiful garden. Good food in restaurant. Good service just one day was slower than regular. Very nice live music on Tuesday. Nice place to relax after Kuta or Canggu. After 3-5 days can be boring though unless you like little bit secluded places

France1) Breakfast is not included and quite expensive for very basic fare that is definitely overpriced but there's no other options in the deserted area. Also no one came to pick up our used cups in the villa, when we returned them they just kept the dirty ones and never gave us back clean ones. I asked once and the next day they forgot again. 2) The service can be definitely better. The supervisor lady at check in didn't mention to us that water refills are an extra cost ! There's no water fountain to get drinking water in the rooms so you have to pay for any refills after one bottle (water is a basic guest necessity!). The supervisor lady also didn't think to tell us to wait (on a very hot day) in the restaurant space when we arrived before check in time. She seemed completely indifferent. 3) The bungalows themselves are kind of a nuisance after the initial charm wears off , especially if you consider the fact that the toilets and showers are outdoors (mosquitoes everywhere, especially to step out at night and get bitten while sitting on the pot is ludicrous). There's only one trash bin, no one came to clean it out or change the sheets during our 3 night stay. Our villa (number 5) didn't have all the bamboo shutters that several other bungalows had, so we couldn't even screen off our porch area. The main doors of the bungalow and the outdoor toilet area don't fully close because they're wooden and the bolts are poorly made . With or without winds, they fly open and mosquitoes and insects can buzz in again. Overall a lot of small elements made the stay good but not great.
Living in the bungalows is a unique experience (but more on that later!), the swimming pool is great, Balangan beach is close by, some of the staff are friendly and helpful and the area is quiet and peaceful. The lady at reception who helped us check out and ordered our taxi to the airport was extremely kind!

IndonesiaMore room with AC would be nice :) But it's not what to complain, we were just unlucky not able to get the AC one as it's always booked.
The location is very near to Balangan beach, an alternative beach for you who wants to enjoy surfing. Not too crowded beach. The pool is nice, beautiful room concept, the open private shower, and the patio for each room is very comfortable for laying low and just enjoying the weather. and of course, the staff who is super fast response following up on our changing dates and super late check-in.

A cute and private cottage in a quiet area very close to the beach. Perfect for surfers but also welcoming for families and couples. You can easily rent a motorbike right at the reception. The pool is amazing and you feel like you are on vacation!

NorwayOnly reason it's not a solid 10 is the lack of hot water in the showers.
The facilitys were amazing and with a 5 minute walk to a very chilled beach with really nice restaurants on stylts ON the beach. Seemed like going 30 years back in time, in a good way. Staff was super friendly, easy going, they had scooter rental and helped out with everything we needed. Amazing value for the money

The bungalows are beautifully crafted and really give the traveler an authentic experience of Balinese architecture. The staff were very attentive & helpful, very friendly & cooked up a beautiful meal for us from fish we had caught that morning on a boat trip. Very close to Balangan beach where my kids surfed and met some great guides whom they bonded with in the waves. Excellent value for money.

GreeceThere are some disadvantages though. The light in the rooms is almost non existent, you cannot see almost. anything when the night comes. Then, throughout our stay whenever we were having a shower, the hot water was never enough and after 2-3 minutes cold water was coming . One day in all balangan area the water was stopped for an entire night and the next morning it came back a really dirty water, of yellowish colour especially in the toilet that had a urine smell, it was very disgusting. This stinky water persisted for at least 3 days . Also the room service the first 6 days of our stay was very bad and never changed our towels or threw away things not needed and was not giving us new glasses , etc. We had to say this several times in order to do this in the middle of our stay. I would advice everyone to not drink from the bottle of water they leave in every room inside the fridge. This water is from the tap and if you don't want gastrointestinal problems like me and my friend had, better be very careful.
The hotel is beautiful, I liked the garden and the swimming pool. Also the ladies in the reception are very well mannered and polite, always helpful. There is Balangan beach right in front of the hotel, which is good for surfing but not good for swimming because its very rocky.
