Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I liked their staff, everyone was friendly and so helpful. They made sure you were comfortable no matter what hour. They aren't in a hurry to rush you out the door. It's like a family unit

Bathrooms could be cleaner 😅 I was unlucky to stay during the day when the swimming pool was dirty. The place is far from everything, but if you are going to rent a scooter it becomes the perfect place to depart in different directions. Oh and if you book a bunk bed in a room without an AC - notice that it's almost outside on a terrace. And have good luck on a live music night.
Overall it was a nice experience! I was lucky to enjoy their weekly live music. The dinner was nice. And it was nice to eat together with lots of good travelers that attracts this hostel 😃

Best hostel in Bali !!! From the first moment you get this friendly and positive vibe by the people, which is exactly what you're looking for in your holidays. Free dinner every night. Just missed some individual plugs and lights for each bed. It is not in the city center, but if you rent a motorbike or call a grab you won't have problems with that.
Staff were super friendly. I could rent a motorbike with them. The hostel is just perfect to make friends, the first night I got there I went out party with a group of 11 people and later I even met some of them in other places in Bali. Just amazing vibe! Nice bar and swimming pool, bathroom was fine, rooms are comfy. Oh, the dinner they offer is great and day time it is also worth it to order something from their menu.

Bathrooms could be a little cleaner.
Location isn’t far from the airport. Staff are friendly and funny. Pool area is super chill and nice. Free dinner every night is great to get everyone mingling. Great social atmosphere. Rooms are outside but have fans so it was ok, abs the bathrooms are not the cleanest but fine. They also have pets which is great! Very cheap too! Free tea / coffee during the day!

A place suitable for solo traveler who tries to detach from its daily life. The small bar was a perfect place to mingle with many people from different countries. Bed were good enough for short rest, and the hospitality was very good, you’d be treated as a part of their family. Will book again in the future for sure.

AMAZING!!!! I came here with a reservation for only 2 days. When I left on the 5th day, I really feel like I left my heart here! Social opportunities BEST BEST BEST STUFFF ON THE WORLD! This is the best hostel I've been to! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Come here and feel like family!

Very social, free vege dinner is a great way to meet people and the food was pretty good. I think this is more of a party hostel, lots of loud music but I was here just one night so not sure how crazy it is every night. Close to the airport and can easily take a grab for early morning or late night flights. Nice pool and good vibes.

Curtains on the beds would be nice; also a little light for every bed (when there are curtains), due to only mosquito nets there's zero privacy
