Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere was nothing we didn't like.
This is a beautiful resort with lots of lush green space plus the beach and ocean. The staff here make it a special holiday, they are all friendly, helpful, kind, smiley and professional. Our Ocean view room was beautiful, immaculate and had every facility we needed, the bed was huge. The pool area is fabulous, it's like a small waterpark but it has plenty of quieter areas. Lots of sunbeds with shade at the poolside, the grass areas and on the beach. The gym is good and we enjoyed a morning yoga session. Breakfast at Grain was amazing, a huge buffet with so much choice, it has to be experienced to believe it! Grain also does themed buffets each evening. Paon Bali is a more formal dining (though very relaxed) restaurant, serving delicious Indonesian food. Recommended. There are lots of other eateries, Shore and Breeze are great for day and evening food on the beach side and have good Happy Hours. The Deli is great for special coffee and treats! Our favourite day was when we discovered Elara. It's special place. We chose starters and Mains to make a sharing table, it was served beautifully and was delicious. We had their signature cocktails that were an experience, and then spent the afternoon lazing on the beautiful beds by the private infinity pool. You must try Elara, we loved it.

IndiaThe food/drink rates at the restaurant and bar surrounding the pool were a bit expensive. An outdoor group party made the evenings a bit noisy.
The location was pretty good. The beach was well maintained. The pools were expansive and the cafe around them were well thought of. Ardhio at the front desk upgraded our rooms which was a welcome surprise. The breakfast was extensive and rich in taste. The views from the hotel were outstanding.

JapanNothing.
We liked everything there, the room, the view, the facilities, the big swimming pool, the buffet breakfast were all fabulous. The food and drinks at other bars and restaurant were pricey but that's what you'd expect. Overall, it was a very good stay there.

BulgariaI would recommend offering a wider selection of international (European) breakfast options and individually packaged butter, as the butter is currently served in a common bowl. The hotel restaurants are a bit pricey.
Everything exceeded our expectations. No mosquitoes, lizards, or other insects in the room or the common areas. The room was spacious and very clean, with housekeeping coming twice a day. The breakfast was excellent. The beach area was peaceful and well-maintained. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5–10 minute drive from Bali Collection and the streets with shops and restaurants and it is very easy and cheap to order a taxi to get you there.

United KingdomThere was construction work going on with multiple diggers on the breakwaters on the beach at the back of the hotel. Sadly this was very disruptive of the peaceful.week we were hoping for, having booked this hotel for a week's rest and relaxation after 4 weeks hectic travelling across Australia. I did raise this during my stay (as well as work on the Balinese beds in Elara), saying I was disappointed that this wasn't me tinned at the time we booked. The response from guest services was that it would have been on the small print with Booking.com I said I was disappointed with this response from a HIG hotel and eventually, was offered a late checkout by way of apology. Which I accepted, as it worked well for us but I did say I would still raise the issue on my return as I did not feel this was sufficient in view of the fact that the noise of the diggers meant it wasn't possible for us to relax at the pool, meaning we had to venture out most days to look for other places to relax. Mainly Padang Padang Beach, a taxi ride away. On one hand this was good as we saw more of the lovely island of Bali but, consequently, it was not the peaceful and relaxing holiday we had booked and paid for. Had it not been for this, the hotel would have got top marks across the board.
The staff. Happy. Attentive and keen to listen. In particular, Desta, Mega, Eka, Hendy, Katerin and Ari show were especially praiseworthy. Also the food was excellent. Particularly in sea breeze and Paon Bali, where in the latter, Wan (sorry if spelt wrong) the heas waiter, I think, did everything possible to make our meals there perfect.

FranceNow for breakfast you cannot take away a drink if you want to drink it at the beach after finishing your meal, it wasn’t like that last year. We were a bit disappointed.
It was the second time we came here and it was perfect as always. We will come back next year. We enjoyed everything, the pool, the restaurants, the facilities are great, they also have a new Spanish restaurant that we won’t forget to try next time. The variety of food at the breakfast is amazing and everyone can enjoy it, European and Asian style.
