Beautiful cottages with an amazing outside bathroom. Great atmosphere, nice pool and amazing breakfast. The personnel is the best. They go above and beyond and are super friendly. It is a really quiet and relaxing accomodation. You will need a scooter or taxi to get around, which is part of the fun!

The location is a little out of the way, but we knew that going in. If you are comfortable on a scooter that's irrelevant, because most everything you might want to visit is within easy scooter distance.

Carlos and his staff were terrific from beginning to end. In passing, I mentioned that I was on gluten free diet and the next morning my breakfast was served with gluten free bread. The front desk arranged for drivers, since sanity prevented me from renting a scooter. The room was cleaned daily and the grounds were constantly maintained. There is an excellent restaurant next door, the Banana Lounge (I think). But, the real story comes down to the staff, who were wonderful and accommodated our seemingly constant requests, booking arrangements, and general inquiries.

it is not the property's fault but there is a club not to far away which plays music till 10pm, I do not think it is an issue for most people but I am in bed by 9pm and prefer to listen to the sounds of tropical frogs rather then music, the noise level is not excessive by any means but I rather then I did not have to hear it

We liked everything about this place. The owner and the staff were unbelievable nice and helpful. They gave us recommendations for the best places to visit, restaurants (they even helped us to book table). Breakfast was great. If you will stay here you should try to book the massage (amazing balinese massage helps to relax your body). If you need the staff could help you rent a motorbike or a car with the driver. Design of the place and the villas is beautiful. It’s less than 10minutes walk to the beach.

Nothing not to like.

This is a small boutique hotel in a quiet side street in Uluwatu. Everything about the hotel and the staff was superb. The room was lovely - spacious, with a comfortable bed and an outdoor bathroom. The staff were exceptional, helping out with bookings and restaurant recommendations. Carlos the owner was friendly, welcoming and totally charming. I would highly recommend this hotel if you like small, boutique hotels that give top class personalised service.

Location is brilliant, beside loads of beaches and restaurants. Rooms and outside Bathrooms are gorgeous, Massage was brilliant. They provide you with a list of local beaches, restaurants, and sunset spots on arrival and also book any activities you are interested in. Staff are wonderful here and the owners want you to have the best time possible

We are rly satisfied with our experience at Incense, the employees are rly friendly and helpful, they are always wearing the biggest smile, the vibe is so relaxing and chill. You can rent a scooter at the place, it's rly convient for exploring Uluwatuu. The best beach (I mean the view is breathtaking and there is NO monkey) is just 7 minutes walk. The weather during our stay was not ideal, there was endless precipitation but the comfortable stay is a relief. definitely wanna come back again!

The breakfast was of high quality and served with smiles in a beautiful outdoor space. The staff at the hotel take extremely good care of their guests. The reception staff at the hotel were exceptional. It did not feel transactional. I genuinely felt very welcome in the hotel.

Not well lit once it gets dark outside the property. But that's not an issue with the property rather the whole area around the property and roads in uluwatu that are dark. Carry some bug spray and torch lights if you like walking.

Quiet spot near Binging and Impossible beach. Ano was super helpful and made us feel at home with his hospitality and kindness.

Incense impossible beach, was stunning the Bungalow style hut were very cute and accommodated everything that you could need. The pool area was beautiful with all the palms and super convenient with breakfast every morning. The staff went out of there way to help us with anything we could possibly need, with local tips to the best restaurants and spas.
