Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWasn't happy I'd been given a bed with a hard topper, so no sleep the first night. My issue was dealt with very well- credit to the staff. Outside the hotel was not to my liking sadly. It's not a tourist place, more an urban living area. Dirty beaches, but that's mankind's fault! The government is starting a programme to address the beach waste issue. Tidal sea, which I couldn't swim in as too much rubbish. (The recent bad weather & winds had brought lots of debri onto the shoreline. Bulldozers were working to clean) The hotel is not situated on the beach but set back with a road to cross, then a restaurant or alley to go through to the shore. It's not ideal. However, the lovely pool area made up for this
A lovely hotel. Very good presentation everywhere. Super breakfast - English or Balinese, buffet style. Amazing choice. Very helpful staff. A nice, small pool area that was most pleasant - A credit to the owners for the design. Free towels & loungers ( invariably) are available. Resolved a hard bed issue immediately, with multiple choices. Very pleasant hotel. Smaller hotel & this added the good vibes. Good fish restaurants along the front.

HungaryRooms' sound isolation is not so great, so it can be a bit noisy, but staff is very helpful and they solved it for us by allowing us to swap rooms (within same price category, of course)
Hearty breakfast with huge variety of foods, super nice staff, refreshing pool, close vicinity of beach.

AustraliaUnfortunately Jimbaran is not close to any shopping or touristy attractions. We went to look at the beach and its disappointingly has alot of rubbish piled up around it. That was probably the most disappointing otherwise we may have stayed a little longer as we did enjoy being within the resort.
Jimbaran was one of the best resorts we stayed while on holidays. The atmosphere and facilities ticked all our boxes. The rooftop bar really was the icing on the cake. Having a cocktail at sunset overlooking the ocean was pretty special. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts had many options and were very happy with the quality. It its opposite the beach if you want to swim.

AustraliaUnfortunately the area around the hotel was disappointing.. the hotel is not beach front, there is a road and several restaurants between the hotel and the beach. The beach itself was absolutely covered in trash, very sad to see.. and there is lots of rubbish tossed into the side streets...also with all the seafood restaurants, there was an offensive fishy/rubbish smell everywhere... which actually put us off eating there.. overall, the hotel is nice but the area around it is not pleasant..
We were very happy to be upgraded to a suite... the room was spacious, but had lots of wasted empty areas.. there was a huge balcony running the length of the suite, with a sofa, 2 chairs and table, and a very big bath... the queen size bed was very comfortable, bathroom huge... the staff were absolutely lovely, helpful, friendly and always smiling.. the breakfast was plentiful, offering a wide variety of Indonesian, Indian and American style food... The pool is nice, with a pool bar, but it's right next to the reception, lobby area, so it's a bit noisy, and there is no garden area .. it is however very clean and not cold...

PolandIt was windy, and the windows and balcony doors were loose, so they were making quite a lot of noise at night, waking us up. And we just couldn't believe how full of garbage the beach was. Plastic everywhere, so sad :(
Friendly staff, comfy bed, nice hot shower, nice views. The tiny gym was much appreciated :)

AustraliaThe location wasn’t close to anything at all. The beaches were dirty and there wasn’t anywhere to sit on the sand. The seating in the dining area were grubby and stained.
I liked that there was a viewing at the top bar section of the sunset over the water. I also liked that there was a spa attached to the property.

Australia1) As the hotel is rather old, it was infested with pests. My wife was frightened by a rat on the 5th floor. There were ants on the 5th floor's floor. There were cockroaches in our room. A full pest control operation is required. 2) Tons of debris were washed ashore. I have never seen such filthiness on beaches in my life. Who is responsible for Jimbaran Bay beaches? If it is a public beach, shouldn't the Council clean it up on a daily basis?
Near the beach and airport. Near Kuta.

United KingdomWe had no air. Con in our room for first night we arrived. Had to move rooms the next day. Safe not working in our other room ( booked 2 as family of 4) . Good in the restaurant cold, cooked downstairs and the took forever and was brought upstairs and cold, then told couldn’t have another drink with our meal as bar shut at 19! No warning and had waited 4( for cold pizza). Slit of the staff seemed young and not able to deal with matters, though the man in reception when we checked out was great. Not much around, no shop and very expensive in the restaurants around. A bit disappointing. Beach not great, waste and rubbish, though hotel had sign apologised as time of year and tides.
Nice breakfast and pool area.

ItalyJust some humidity stains on the shower curtain. And I wish the spa had some treatment included for the guests, but it doesn't.
The breakfast buffet was the highlight: even if I am gluten intolerant, I found many options that were naturally gluten free. I mostly went for traditional local food and some of it was amazing, especially the balinese fried rice and the beef rendang! The room was comfortable and silent enough, especially at night we always slept undisturbed. We had a big shower in the bathroom and a tub on the balcony. The swimming pool was nice too, as well as the rooftop bar!

AustraliaAlthough close to the beach but not much else in area for tourists in wet season. Rooms did smell a bit musty. Food and drink at the upstairs bar were expensive.
