Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI could sometimes hear my neighbours and having just come form a silent retreat my hearing was extra sensitive but after having a chat with my neighbours they shared that they couldn’t hear me.
Such friendly owners and staff who go above and beyond. Ketut and Adi make you feel like family and as a solo traveller this makes all the difference. The breakfast was great and had a good option to choose from, the bed was really comfortable and really big for one person! There was a beautiful trekking trail at the end of the street it is down and a secluded temple space which ketut took me to. I love how invested and passionate ketut is about the work she is doing for the earth and community, with the enzymes. I really felt inspired by her and see how committed she is to making a difference in Bali and wider. She is so knowledgeable. I was also poorly when I stayed there and felt very looked after and supported. Ketut also cooked me dinner a couple of evenings which was delicious

GermanyThat I couldn't stay longer....
Very beautiful and magic place! It is one of the small groups of accommodation which really cares about sustainability tourism, which I highly recommend to "copy" ideas and spread out for other accommodation in Bali. The rooms are spacious and very cosy with everything you need (to make coffee, tea, fridge,...) Breakfast is delicious and if you ask in advance they prepare dinner for you also.

AustraliaCan get noisy with animal sounds for those who can't stand constant rooster crowing. But I love them all. It adds to the jungle/village vibe.
When you first enter the property, you might feel you're in the "wrong" place. However, once inside your room, you feel you're in a resort accommodation. It was a real treat to have a shower under the sky. There were no insects or mosquitoes in the room despite it being next to the jungle.

GermanyIn the morning there is some noise made by roosters (bring you oropax with you). The surrounding warungs are only ok.
The Hosts were very friendly. The gave us lots of information what we can do and made the best to feel good. It is in the jungle. So it is a quiet place to calm down with many temples and waterfalls nearby.

New ZealandThe bedding had a slight musty smell to it. Not too bad, though. I guess it's one of the snags of living in the jungle.
Absolutely wonderful and helpful hosts that goes beyond exceptional. A cosy room in a nice natural setting. Also by far the nicest bathroom I had during my trip to Bali. (This aspect seems vastly overlooked elsewhere, at least in this price range.)

SpainThis is such a magical place! So much love and care have been put into every detail. The house is beautiful and peaceful, and the hosts incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. One can walk to the temple through the jungle to experience the cleansing ceremony. I have been travelling for months and here I finally felt at home.

United StatesNothing Having to say goodbye to katuk
Katuk the woman who owns it is amazing. She took us along a nature Trail, the back road to the famous Tirta email temple. She insured we were dressed properly with her generous clothing for the men and women. We were four of us traveling together two couples, and took the upstairs rooms which were fantastic. Our shower was tepid. But it was so hot out. It felt good. Our friends was a little bit warmer they said. Everything was so clean and beautiful. The breakfast were amazing. She was so generous and we got to taste traditional Balinese breakfast, and when she found out I love tofu, she went to a neighbor and got us fresh tofu and avocado. She added Mangostine to my breakfast the next day when I told her how much I loved it. They were beyond generous. They help us get around to different areas of town at super reasonable rates. I even got to jump on the back of her motor bike. Two of us had special dietary needs, and she made sure the restaurant she recommended took good care of us. I had some of the best Tempe ever. We were over the rice, patties and fire flies and could see the ducks doing their work natural gardening . Ask her about what she’s doing to clean up the village and her Eco soaps. We ended up supporting a large bag of rice and her soaps so she can get the villagers to use that verses the plastic covered soap. Her soaps are enzymatic and fabulous. Better for the river waters too We also were taken to a local ceremony and temple. She helped us shop. She and this stay was one of the best experiences on our trip. Her studies were around environment and she continues that. Ask her about what they did during the pandemic for the village. Best rustic eco lodge Only fans but was perfect. Lovely outdoor shower. Wirh plants.

Not far from the center, you can find calmness, be in the jungle, connect with nature, and immerse yourself in the Balinese atmosphere, because at "Jungle Joglo," they ensure it's just like that, making you feel at home. The room is new, beautiful, with a comfortable and spacious bed, an outdoor space to enjoy the jungle with privacy, and an excellent bathroom. Everything is clean. The breakfasts are excellent, and the personal attention is TOP. They manage it with a lot of care, professionalism, and a great sense of service, with sensibility. They will help you before you even ask. If you've made it this far, don't hesitate. Enjoy it! Pd:Ketut Yudani thank so much for make me my birthday special!!
