Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkOur stay was absolutely perfect, and the hotel was stunning! The location is ideal—right in the heart of Ubud, yet surrounded by nature, offering both convenience and silence. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, and the facilities were modern, well-maintained, and truly outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly, providing exceptional service that made us feel so welcome. We loved the peaceful views, the beautifully maintained gardens, and the breathtaking lobby. The pool, the food was amazing, and the morning yoga class at 8:00 AM was a must-do experience! You could easily spend your entire stay here without wanting to leave. We had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to return!

United KingdomI stayed at this beautiful tranquil haven with my 90 year old mum and sister and we had the most amazing time. Ade, Mei and their team were so incredibly warm and welcoming. We were very sad to leave. It was so peaceful! Looking forward to returning next year. Thank you again for taking such great care of us.

We had to pinch ourselves that this hotel was so good and was not too expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, the facilities were more than we expected, the food was excellent and the location was very convenient. There was no noise, pollution and the view over the rice paddies and forest, out to the mountains was sublime.

Australiaall good.
The resort feels like a boutique stay. The staff were helpful and went to great lengths to provide gluten free options for my friend. Reception is at level 4 and resort is at level 1. The lift is efficient and centrally located. The gardens and pool in the rice paddies was picturesque. A great place to visit so close to the centre of UBUD.

They provide afternoon tea everyday, contain Balinese food and drink, also the amazing breakfast served as a la carte for main dish which could order in the room! Hong KongNothing. I think the quality of the food can be more consistent. Some days, the food is excellent and sometimes, the same food is just okay.
The staff are really thoughtful and warm. The hotel also provides complimentary afternoon tea. The hotel is very clean and a great teamwork and communication among the staff. Very convenient and efficient housekeeping.

ChinaWonderful experience. Great hotel facilities and room of course, but it was the staff that made the magic happen - They took customers' needs seriously. My daughter doesn't eat seafood or eggs, they brought egg-free cookies to the room, and reminded us during every breakfast and in-room dining that certain food contained eggs. They knew we were at breakfast and sent staff to clean the room. And offered to make us special breakfast when they noticed we missed one breakfast. It was exceptional.

Taiwan- The distance to center Ubud is not within easy walking distance if carrying a young child. But in general it is easy to call a taxi using Grab.
- The staff are extremely helpful and kind, and also very child-friendly. We have a one-year-old and he always had fun with the staff when sitting on the baby chair for meals- which could be quite challenging for parents of young children. Several ladies even offered to babysit for a while for us to finish our meals, that was extra kind. - The public swimming pool is not huge but the water is clean. - The rooms are spacious and very tidy. They even came to fold the bedsheets twice a day. The bacthrooms are better than the pictures on the website: hugh and with a lovely bathtub. - An extra lugguage/coat room is much appreciated. - The complimentary daily yoga classes are great for beginners, and take place at the beutiful chapel. - The kitchen makes great international cuisines. - Love the bed time stories of Ubud offered on the bed every night!

United Arab EmiratesBoring in the evening as they only have 1 restaurant which is the same one you have breakfast in. So you are kind of forced to go out, unless you want the quietness at night. I was a solo traveler so didn’t really want to be that left alone :D . Other than that, everything was amazing. The room was beautiful.
Everything! It is soooo beautiful, clean, peaceful and feels away with its quiet and relaxing atmosphere although its in downtown in an amazing location. Most hotels around that area are so noisy, but this hotel gives you the best of both worlds. The quiet relaxing atmosphere without being in the middle of nowhere! Their staff are so friendly and helpful. Their Indonesian breakfast menu is to die for. The yoga class in the morning is a MUST DO! Absolutely superb.
