The garden rooms were a bit underwhelming for the price, but comfortable.

The resort and beach club were beautiful. It was lovely to sit on the daybeds and watch the surfing. The food at the restaurant was great and varied.

The staff were amazing and lovely. The views and location were incredible. The facilities were excellent, and the menu was delicious - which made choosing something each day across one week challenging (too many great items to get through, and many I wanted and did order multiple times!)

The Hotel itself was beautifully laid out, the location by the beach was perfect.

I decided to upgrade to a villa room with a plunge pool and view of the beach. After staying in Ubud in the mountains then moving to the beach, staying in a room with my own plunge pool and the sound of the waves on the beach made my stay at Hotel Komune so memorable. I celebrated my birthday while I was there and the staff bought me in a birthday cake with my in-room breakfast service and in the evening, coming back after dinner, they decorated my bed with birthday wishes - so special.

The location of the hotel is a bit far to go everywhere and there were not many restaurants around so, you have to eat at the hotel all the time and it's expensive.

Beautiful surrounding, well design hotel, close to beach, greenery space and the herbs garden.

There was a retreat in at the same time as us and the music was so loud it woke us up early hours of the morning

There was a bit of noise one night with loud music from the next-door property and also during the yoga class that I tried. The afternoon yoga class that I did was a bit regimented too and not very popular, but this place definitely has the potential to bring in some really great teachers and host luxury retreats!

The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help fulfil our requests and make my husband's birthday amazing! The rooms were ideal with two interconnecting rooms for our family and we loved the facilities! The kids club area was awesome with trampolines and even skate park! They thought of everything for the kids with free baby food on menu and outdoor movies every night while parents ate. Surf break was a hit for my hubby catching his first barrel and the spa was lovely and reasonably priced. The food was also amazing! The gardens were also beautiful.

Loved my stay at Komune so much that I booked again to stay at the end of my trip in Bali for a few more nights. I stayed in the pool front villas that offered beautiful views of Keramas beach and had it's own dip pool which was so lovely. The food at both the Beach Club and Health Hub restaurants was AMAZING and I loved all the treatments that I spoiled myself with at the Spa salon (4 Hands massage was to die for!!!) and the daily morning yoga classes. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the location is fabulous. I was travelling by myself, so it was great that everything was right there at the hotel and was super easy to access. I'll be back again for sure :)

The river, the beach and the roads around the hotel are dirty, with lots of scraps and rubbish dumped by locals.

That I’m not still there! It was unfortunate that Keramas beach was so incredibly littered with rubbish and dirty but I was glad to see Komune employees cleaning it full time. Sad they have to do it.

The food at the restaurant was really bad, I had friends visiting over for a day and none of us had a nice meal. At the end I ordered ice cream as I thought nothing can go wrong with that, only to find one HUGE piece of ice and some smaller ones in it 😣
