Family pool could do with a spruce-up. Quite isolated, so GoJek or Grab is a must.

Staff are very friendly, main pool is beautiful, resort is very well maintained, included breakfast is delicious with multiple options. Bungalows are very well appointed.

The pool at the back of the property needs some serious attention. Super slimy and in need of a good clean. Perhaps rather than building more rooms which is currently happening, more time could be spent on a little maintenance here and there. Having said that, it was very good value for money in that location. Breakfasts were great but I felt a little love was missing from the dinner plates. Not everything on the menu was available either.

Love the room style and gardens. Area around the restaurant and pool is lovely. Having our own private garden was gorgeous.

nNi water hose at the bathroom .. that was shocking and very difficult for Muslims and for proper cleaning. must be considered.

The whole resort is exceptional. The villa was amazing and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The spa experience was pleasant. The quiet atmosphere is designed for deep relaxation escaping noisy cities and roads.

My stay was very good. The sandbags at the door were always wet because of the rain, so I personally hope that a comfortable chair or single sofa can be added to the room, and the lighting can be a little brighter, which would be great! 👍🏻

The service is the best in my opinion. The environment is very comfortable and the scenery is very good. It is close to the sea. It's a pity that we came during the rainy season and didn't see the sunset we wanted. But this makes me determined to come again next time.

Zero isolation of the bungalows. Not possible to sleep during the night because of all sounds of frogs, birds, dogs, roosters and geckos with their terrible noise making on the rooftop. Bed is not comfortable, lots of mosquito bites during the night even when sleeping with the net. Toilet was leaking.

Although room was clean mosquitoes were everywhere. But they do provide netting with the beds, so you are good for sleeping.

Great pool area, food and atmosphere in general. We had a great time here. Not much to do in the area but it is right next to the beach by going down a stairs, beautiful sunset and view.

Everything was great, the staff was very kind and attentive. The breakfast and smoothies were fantastic. Inside the resort you could find everything you need: massage, restaurant, pools and a short staircase leading directly to the beach. A real Balinese atmosphere.

The ONLY down side was the air con only worked during the day and really well didn't seem to work that well during the night. It didn't pump cold cold air. So it was slightly warm.

We loved our stay, the pools were perfect, the staff were so lovely and kind and helpful. The food was delicious and the location was perfect. So close to the beach and far enough away from the busy areas its nice and quiet. But close enough its so an easy 15-20 minutes on a scooter to Uluwatu.

I think water needs to be available without buying bottle by bottle. There should be a refill area. If there was a market in walking distance I would have topped up myself but given the isolated nature I think this is a basic amenity.

My favourite spot was the restaurant area that surrounds the pool. so pretty, serene. Perfect for breakfast, or cocktails. With ocean views. Just stunning.

I had some small issues with the cleaning in my room and with my designated guide (as he was much more a driver than a guide). Nevertheless, it shouldn't bring down the first-class experience

The stay in La Joya is a wonderful experience. The bungalows are very private with large personal space, the staff is extremely diligent in guaranteeing a top notch experience and the view from the restaurant and the pool is outstanding. It also has an easy access to the beach, from up the cliff, and to view points. The restaurant food was also a great positive, with an amazing breakfast (6 different menu options to choose from).

The staff don’t fill your water bottles in front of you, I’m not sure how clean the water is, both my boyfriend and I were sick the whole time. It’s a little pricy for what you get. The food isn’t that great and there aren’t many other options around.

The gardens are really pretty and the rooms are different and unique
