they offered a twin room online but on arrival it was not available and they said the only way to sleep apart was to book an extra room. not professional, especially since they had so many empty rooms available and it was offered on booking… we shortened our stay and left earlier than we planned

Maha Hills is so beautiful - the rooms are big and gorgeous. The views from the balcony are stunning - you look over the rice paddies and then out over the ocean. Absolutely loved the room and the amenities.

Maha Hills was truly a jungle paradise. Our room sat at the top of the property overlooking the rice paddies. The rooms were very spacious with a large bathtub and balcony. The staff were amazing and very accommodating :) The location of the hotel is perfectly central to waterfalls and Lovina beach. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in North Bali

The view from the villa is breathtaking and the rooms very beautiful on high standard. The staff put so much effort and love in everything so that the stay was very comfortable for us. I can highly suggest the signature massage package which is surrounded by the noises of the waterfall. Many thanks for an outstanding experience!

The resort is amazing! I asked for a bathtub in the room, so staff kindly upgrade our room for suite villa free of charge. Breakfast was the best I ever had in a hotel around Bali, it’s great bathtub and super comfortable bed. Staff of the resort is super helpful and super professional. Totally love the stay!

The whole place was amazing. I have lived in Bali for 4 years and never even knew Sambangan existed. Beautiful rice terraces and I could hear the waterfall 24 hours from my room. I went there to be in nature and be creatively inspired for my business and it worked. So peaceful and serene. The baths are amazing, water pressure amazing, view, staff - especially Agus the room service man was really good to chat with. Room service was great and the breakfast was just totally next level. I will be back soon :)

we loved our stay at maha hills. extended for an extra night because it was so good. they are doing some extensions that should be finished by May 2023. but they work around that with ease. my wife had a birthday there and the whole staff came and presented a birthday cake that they home made. it was delicious and my wife was crying by the end of how beautiful it was 🥰

What a stunning view! I stayed here to visit Aling-aling waterfall. Lovely large clean room, excellent value for money. This Hotel is surrounded by really beautiful rice field. In the morning, I take a walk around this hotel while enjoying amazing hills and rice filed view. The view from the top of this hotel is unbelievable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they also gave me welcome drink and massage when I arrived. This is really recommended hotel in north Bali.

But that also means, it really difficult to get around. Even though it was only a few KM from lovina beaches but since there are no viable sources of transport the only options were to get the hotel transport which are pretty pricey as well. Was there in the rainy season so there were not much views for us and there were also a lot of steps to take in order to get to the villa and dining area.

The place had a lovely balinese touch and is located in a secluded area away from the bustle of the city.

Our room was not clean when we checked in and during our stay. There were lots of ants and other insects in the bathroom. There was a mold on the walls. The bed curtain and bed sheets had lots of black and colored stains. There was a lot of insect poop on the bedsheet. I even caught one piece on my head while relaxing on the bed. We saw a mice in our room. Although the mice quickly escaped the room and was not seen again. The staff was very attentive and did their best to help. But the cleanliness of the room in general was unsatisfactory.

Great location in a distant hilly village. View from the restaurant/pool area was stunning. Very nice restaurant: tasty food, various options. Breakfast selection was good as well. We absolutely enjoyed chilling at a pool area of a restaurant all day long. Helpful and attentive staff.

I haven't felt this unwelcome and disrespected at a resort before. One of the staff members wanted to have a meeting about the activities I suppose and we would meet in one hour. She let me wait for 30 minutes while she could clearly see me. Later that day she put a folder in front of her face so I wouldn't see her. I never had the meeting. They also promote the local Dolphin tour wich I do not recommend if you care anything about animal welfare. Do not choose this resort if you are serious about yoga. Lessons are only once a day.

We paid 2 waters than never were consumed, there where our brought for outside. Did not want to discuss because i had a long way to denpasar airport but this ending detail made me leave with a wired feeling about this place. On the other had i reported a doubt of a use for one thing of the facilities and never had an answer and they came yo take a picture of the problem and stuff but for nothing.

The room smell a bit funny and the beddings towel a bit dated. For the price that you are paying for I would expect something way better then that and not worth what I am paying for

The view is very nice and breakfast and staff are extremely helpful. As we didn’t get a good night sleep they did offer to upgrade our room. But unfortunately it’s more or less the same so we just left early. But I must say the staff are very good and helpful

Dirty room , dirty bed and dirty pool with thousands of dead insects in the pool and on the bed they didn’t hear about the cleanliness of the room there were stains on the bed sheets and blood on the pillow cases all staff were unprofessional and they tried to pressure us to stay at the hotel If you want to try a horror and awful night it will be the perfect choice

Nothing every thing was horrible the worst hotel I have ever seen.
