Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaRoom is a good size but for me this property does not qualify as a 4 star property. I stayed previously at 3 star property that had the same amenities and also had very nice rooms at a lower rate. The fridge was not plugged in and also did not work but it was however, promptly replaced. The lighting in the room is not so good and there is just a set of blackout curtains and nothing else. I was right by the pool, so everyone could look in the room, if I had the blinds open. If you like natural light, I would recommend asking for a higher floor.
In general a nice property. The pool is nice. Good size room. TV has limited channels. Wifi worked well and the room was very clean. Nice large bathroom. Coffee and tea provided as well as comp water. Nice pool area. My suggestions for food and drink are to have an ice tea or ice cream at Mixue, which is close by and noodles and a Thai ice tea for only 20000 IDR at the Mie Gacoan, which is also nearby.

AustraliaMinor issues really could be improved by general maintenance (ie. overhead shower didn't work as knob missing, but handheld worked and loose pool tiles. The floor above was rather noisy, so recommend top floor (unsure if it was maintenance or people shifting furniture regularly across the floor). Some suggestions would be a designated smoking area that is away from rooms, restaurants, and lobby (perhaps out the front) as this was hard to get used to coming from Aust. 2 swipe keys per room would be good as at times it was just inconvient. General info about the services available at hotel or recommendations as well as some tourist info for things to see).
A nice hidden gem with huge potential. Away from the busy tourist area but still close enough if you enjoy walking and exploring local life in Kuta (teenager 15 to 20) felt safe to walk into main district and back at night. Relatively quiet at night, you will get used to the beeps and call to prayer after the 2nd night). Rooms were functional, cleaned daily, and bottled water provided daily - exactly what is stated in the description online. Restaurant was also good if you wanted simple fare after a busy day (noting portion size may differ from Western countries). Staff were absolutely fabulous. The cold pool was so inviting after a humid and hot day unlike the tepid pool we visited at another place. There is a laundry and 2 Marts to choose as well as the scooter hire directly across the road. Hotel has security on the entrance and assisted with traffic (for some countries, it could be overwhelming but made for an experience)

AustraliaNothing. It's all fine at the Ohana.
The Ohana is like an old friend! I've been staying there for ten years, every couple of months for four or five nights. I like the staff, and many know me by name, so for me it's very friendly place. The location is superb, just a five minute walk from Bemo Corner, with some good warungs nearby, including a Masakan Padang!! It's probably 10 - 15 minutes to the beach. The room is always spotless, bed and pillows comfortable, aircon efficient, and the wifi fast and reliable. Why would I look elsewhere??

Czech RepublicThe rooms and the whole hotel could be cleaner. There were also a lot of insects in the room, and though it is to be expected in Bali, this was too much. At pool there were only two sunbeds, that didn't look very appealing.
The hotel was close to the center and there were many nice restaurants around (like Warung Norman). At first sight the hotel looks modern and nice. There is a safe box in the room, sockets next to the bed. There is a small fridge and kettle woth coffee or tea.

AustraliaThe hotel is about ready for renovation, certainly some parts are ready. I'll continue staying there because of the convenience, and I like the location and people, but there are a few small things that I found irritating in the room on this stay.
The location and staff are standouts for the Ohana. It's only a five minute walk to Bemo Corner, and there are a range of warungs, a Masakan Padang warung, plus a mobile Martabak/Murthabak (highlight for me) stand in the street from about 6.00 pm. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and I know many by first names, having been a regular for about 10 years, 5-6 times a year. The room and bed are comfortable, aircon effective, and wifi fast and reliable.
