Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesCrazy loud road traffic noise, literally not one quiet place to make a phone call. Hotel situated directly on major busy road with no sound barriers.
Big comfy bed, great view from the pool area, working electric outlet at bedside.

GermanyIt’s close to the street, you need a scooter but no noises while sleeping and for sunset I could I ignore it. For solo travel definitely a yes 🧳 For couples, as privat room a don’t. If you’re able, bring your own pillow ‘cause like most accommodation moldy. But sheets and everything clean.
For someone who’s searching a quiet Dom, go for it! Watching sunset in the infinity pool 100%

AustraliaNext to a busy and loud road but was still quiet in the room but loud by the pool/reception. Place could be a little bit cleaner but at least was not mouldy
The pool and sunset is really nice and rooms are really comfortable! Location was great, 10 min scooter to bars/beaches but no walking distance restaurants nearby.

NetherlandsI started in the dorm but I had to switch to a private room because there was no WiFi or connection for 4g at all from the room. The bed had stains on it and the bathrooms were disgusting. No windows so super stuffy and very dirty. I switched to a private room because I needed wifi and it was a lot nicer, but also way more expensive. The road outside is super loud so not possible to sit in the reception/pool area to work remotely. Also a lot of construction work on the place itself.
Nice pool, great location and friendly staff :) the included breakfast is good and healthy!

AustraliaStaff were unfriendly on arrival but the senior (owner?) was helpful and nice. Wifi did not work for the time I was there and the vibe was a bit dead, no socialising going on.
Was pleasant, beds were fine.

United KingdomThe room I stayed in was quite far from reception so the wifi did not work all at all unfortunately. The A/C was also not the best so the room did get quite warm at night.
The beds were super comfy and fairly big as well, bigger than a normal single bed. The rooms were really spacious too with a locker each and enough floor space for suitcase etc. The toilet/shower area was clean and a good size with the shower and toilets separate to the sinks. The location was great only 5 minutes on a Grab scooter from bars/restaurants/beaches. The staff were really friendly too and were always around. The breakfast was quite nice. You can choose bread and jam, eggs, bacon and sausage with tea or coffee.

AustraliaThat's not really the hotel's fault, but the only downside of our stay was the noise from the main street. We couldn't sleep properly as the traffic and horns go on all night long
Location was great. Staff was kind. Room was clean and new. Air con was great. Pool was amazing

The foot in to the room and the one to the barhroom made some noise. It was dificult to walk quietly. The road from the Hotel is dark in the nights, so need a Gojek skuter taxi to Get somewhere, but thats only 12 000 idr and nice
Slept in 6 bed form. The beds var 120 cm, so a lot of place and really comfortable. I got my locker to locker my luggage, and there were curtains for every bed to Get privacy. Every bed had power outlet and a lamp. The bathroom was big, 2 toilets and 2 showers with lock. Also the beds didnt moove when other persons mooved, good night sleep.

United Arab EmiratesWe stayed here for 4 nights and each night had to tackle the ants. The bed was comfy but the cleanliness of the room was not up to any standard. The bathroom was grubby, the air con was leaking, the pool area was run down. This place has a lot of potential, it’s a pity it’s not being taken care of.

MauritiusThe bathroom had a urine smell that drastically reduced once I asked the staff to clean it again. Beddings and furniture surfaces had weird stains. Cleaning the room would only be done upon check out, unless you opt to pay extra for cleaning. Water would also not be refilled. Breakfast was super basic, same options everyday. Not a very social atmosphere, in terms of other guests.
The staff was kind, and helped me check in at 1 AM. Pool was nice and well maintained. The location was good, not too far from the main shops in Uluwatu, but far enough to be removed from the busy feel.

GermanyVery noisy from the road, beds were not very comfortable and some stains on one of the comforters. Honestly it looks so much nicer and cleaner on the photos. Wifi was quite spotty from some parts of the room. It would have been fine for 250-350k, but at 650k it needs to be better.
Staff was incredibly friendly and the location is great.

AustraliaThe property is right next to (and I mean literally right there) the very busy road, so it is extremely loud. It was probably my fault for not researching that more, but if I had known it was going to be that loud I would not have stayed. It’s a bummer because other than that everything is nice, however I won’t be staying here again because of the noise.
It has a beautiful view especially for sunset. The pool is nice (although not very cold). The staff are very lovely and helped with anything we needed.

New ZealandUnfortunately, our bed had fleas (I think it might have been from the hotel dog) which meant I got destroyed over night. Therefore, I was not comfortable sleeping. Location wise - it's great for the sunset and late afternoon / early evening glow, but it is right next to a steep hill which means you regularly hear cars and trucks struggle up / down the road. The bathroom had a strange sewage smell to it too.
The pool looks over Uluwatu which made sunsets and evening relaxation top notch. All the staff were lovely. Our room and shower were fairly large which helped us as we had a few bags to lay out.

PortugalThe bathrooms weren’t very clean. On one of the nights the shower pressure was almost non-existent, and the towel I got initially was stained/dirty (they immediately replaced it though). The room had no wifi, which was very inconvenient.
The pool is very nice, and the beds have curtains. They have a storage room for the bags and a nice area to sit outside. There are nice places to eat close to the hostel and there are 2 beaches at 30 minute walking distance (or order a cheap bike ride). The staff is very kind.
