We truly enjoyed our stay here - seemed like a little paradise with the lush vegetations and charming décor, the infinity pool was amazing, great for chilling as well as taking nice pictures :) All the staff was very friendly and attentive and provided amazing service. We got upgraded to a better villa without even asking. Breakfast was included with our stay and definitely worth it, as the menu had different gourmet options every day. Loved the Balinese massages at the spa. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend staying here if you are planning to visit Ubud.

This was our first time in Bali, and we were absolutely mesmerized by its nature, people, culture, and vibrant atmosphere—far beyond what we expected. Our stay at this hotel made our experience even more special. We loved spending time on our balcony overlooking the lush tropical forest, and the infinity pool was simply breathtaking—one of the most stunning views in the world, offering a sense of timeless serenity. The staff were incredibly warm, always smiling, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were spotless at all times, which we truly appreciated. The hotel is just 10 minutes from Ubud’s lively center, and the shuttle service made getting around effortless. It’s also in a perfect location to visit Ubud’s must-see attractions, such as temples, rice terraces, waterfalls, and the Monkey Forest. The hotel’s spa is on another level—an open-air sanctuary overlooking the forest, combined with highly skilled therapists, made for an unforgettable relaxation experience. First of all, from the moment you enter the door, everyone is very friendly and polite. The rooms and everywhere in the hotel are very clean. More beautiful than what we see in the photos. Although you are in the forest, we never saw any insects and flies. The staff's attention and service is very high. We came for our honeymoon and were very pleased. Ubud is very close to the center, there are many cafes, restaurants and markets that continue walking.

This hotel offers some of the finest services in Bali. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Every need is met—and even exceeded—thanks to the outstanding service provided by the staff. The pool is stunning, creating a serene atmosphere that makes you feel immersed in nature, despite being just moments away from the heart of Ubud. Breakfast was exceptional, featuring delicious à la carte mains included in the rate, always offering fantastic options. The spa services were equally impressive. We had a massage in the spa villa, which turned out to be a truly unforgettable experience. Without a doubt, we will be returning on our next trip to Bali!

We had a wonderful stay at Pita Maha! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff was very welcoming and even gave us a tour during check-in, which made us feel right at home. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail was impressive. Our suite had an amazing view, making the stay even more special. A nice surprise awaited us with complimentary drinks in the minibar and essence sticks placed on the bed, adding a thoughtful touch to the experience. Overall, we highly recommend Pita Maha for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for stay. We would definitely return!

Beautiful hotel with amenities at the top of a slope and villas cascading down on a series of terraces . It is nestled into the jungle like it has been there forever , with beautifully maintained gardens . The staff are friendly and attentive, without being intrusive . We had a standard room , rather than a signature villa , but it was spacious , beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean . The bed was great and the air-con as fierce as we needed. The infinity pool, blending into the dense jungle, is quite something. Location is also spot on; so tranquil that it seems far removed from the hectic centre , but it’s less than 5 mins on a scooter (rented from a very relaxed guy next door). We were on the north coast , a day after leaving, when I realised I had lost my wedding ring. The staff found it poolside and sorted a driver to bring it to me without minimal fuss . Genuinely can’t fault the place .

The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. The property is gorgeous with pathways where the luscious tropical greenery is beautiful. A tropical paradise and the pool water is like silk on your skin.

Staff were so friendly and fantastic, the spa was a complete highlight the massage was world class, surroundings were so peaceful and I loved sitting at the breakfast area in the morning soaking up the views. Pool was gorgeous, rooms well sized, grounds cared for and amazing landscaping.

We had a most amazing stay in Bali and it was totally due to our stay in Pita Maha. We felt so welcomed and taken care of as soon as we arrived . It’s such an amazing setting . The food was amazing for breakfast every morning and we had several dinners there as well which were all delicious. We loved looking out on all the green and lazing by the pool. We felt like we had the place to ourselves.

Pita Maha is our favourite hotel in Ubud. Since 1998, we have stayed there 3 times, twice as a couple and recently with our family. It hasn’t changed. The villas are private and beautifully crafted with fine marble and teak, wonderful views and are set in lush traditional Balinese gardens. The staff are superb - warm, professional and gracious. The daily afternoon tea served to the lovely sound of the gamelan was a particular favourite. We plan to return early next year. 🌺

The layout of the resort is on a steep hillside which means there were a lot of stairs to negotiate, although there were generally also ramp options, so anyone less mobile might find that a challenge

Beautiful resort with stunning gardens and a lovely infinity pool with an outlook across a little river at the tropical jungle. We were made to feel totally at home with the wonderful friendly and helpful staff, who were always attentive and ready to help. The room was beautifully appointed and comfortable, air conditioning kept temperatures comfortable. Our deal included breakfast which varied each day with freshly cooked options together with buffet. Highlight for us was the special banquet dinner that included a great spread of food and traditional music and dancers. Ketut, the restaurant and bar manager did a great job and he and his team made it a special occasion.
