Pondok Santi Estate is pure luxury, even in the midst of a storm! We stayed for five nights, three of which were marked by a cyclone with torrential rain and strong winds—but despite the weather, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The beautifully appointed rooms have everything you need, including lovely outdoor bathrooms that add to the tropical charm. The staff went above and beyond, always addressing us by name and ensuring we were well taken care of. Service was flawless—attentive, warm, and truly five-star. Dining on the beach was a highlight, with both breakfast and dinner offering a perfect mix of delicious food and stunning ambiance. The restaurant itself is superb, serving high-quality meals with impeccable service. We also indulged in the in-room massage service, which was outstanding—one of the best we’ve had. The estate’s grounds are breathtaking, with lush gardens, peaceful gazebos, and a large, warm pool with comfortable seating to relax in. Everything was spotlessly clean and maintained to the highest standard. Even with challenging weather, Pondok Santi Estate delivered an unforgettable experience. This is a true high-end retreat where the staff simply cannot do enough for you. Highly recommended!

The secondary pool was not as clean as the main pool. The grass wasn’t mowed near the hill view accommodation. I can’t stress enough though how minor these issues were in the broader context of our experience.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. We were very warmly greeted on arrival. We loved the private beach area and restaurant on the beach. Service was excellent; staff tried very hard to ensure we had a great experience. The music played at the beach restaurant and bar was exceptionally well curated and strongly contributed to our experience. We will always remember our stay at Pondok Santi.

For the 5* property the bikes were terrible, very tired they need replacing and upgrading

Everything was perfection. The rooms were perfect. The grounds were so well kept and beautiful. The pool area was spotless and so lovely. The property has a luxurious feel to it. We cycled around the whole island and this was the property that has the wow factor. It feels like a 5* resort and to pair with the lovely staff that go above and beyond to make your stay great… heaven! We will be back.

Ideal place on Gili T for someone who would like to have a more private, quiet and relaxing holiday. I will certainly stay there again if I visit Gili T for another scuba diving trip. Outdoor shower in the private garden is surprisingly enjoyable...

Probably the only thing we were not too fond of was the brekky by the pool on the first day, there was smell from the re-used water being used for gardening. It was not too much of an issue, we were immediately accommodated by the beach which was a way better option anyways

Splendid property in Gili T. Definitely one of the best we have stayed at so far. The staff were so friendly and accomodating and made our stay so enjoyable looking after all our needs. The property is stunning, great spread of rooms (we had one pool villa and another garden facing villa), both were spacious! The restaurant by the beach was a great place to spend the day on a private beach. With access to snorkels, paddle boards and all (friendly instructors) you are sure to see turtles (without having to pay a fee like you have to do elsewhere on the island).

The smell in the villa (although the staff brought some aromatherapy), the toilet is old, the free bicycles are old should be replaced, the pool from the villa is very old as well as the main pool.

The mosquitoes were a bit of a nightmare but the staff did everything they could to help. Wouldn’t stop us going back!

Beautiful accommodation, with a wonderful outdoor bathroom. Delicious breakfast, we took advantage of the beach. Nice beach, clean sea. Quiet place. Possibility of free rental of snorkeling equipment and bike rental. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay and we recommend it to everyone.

Lovely hotel on the quieter side of Gili T. Room was big and had everything we needed - the outdoor shower was a real novelty! Well maintained pool/bar area. One of the main highlights for us was the breakfast on the beach in the morning, truly amazing experience. Food in the restaurant in general is excellent.

This was one of our very favourite hotel experiences we have ever had. The whole Pondok Santi staff was outstandingly polite, friendly and super helpful - we felt at home right after our arrival and they tried to make every little request possible. All of them knew our names right away! The rooms were a dream - super clean and provided with whatever we needed and more. It was an amazing feel-good-place, extremely quiet - if you wouldn't want to experience anything from the "louder" party area on Gili T, you could simply choose to have the most relaxing holiday without the need of even leaving the property. They have two incredible restaurants and you can choose where to sit and enjoy your breakfast and dinner - we always went to the beach where we sat with our feet in the sand under fairy lights with the calming sound of waves right by the ocean. During daytime, you can enjoy amazing canopies or hammocks right by the crystal clear water. Every few hours we went snorkeling to see the most beautiful turtles just metres away. Without a doubt you should choose this accommodation for your stay on Gili T and you will leave being sad that your time there is over.

My only issues were having to go outside at night to access the toilet, but this is just part of outdoor bathrooms in general. I felt quite safe in doing so. I also didn’t like that we only had 2 nights there.

A beautiful property with great features like the beach breakfast/dining setting, the lovely pool, the well kept grounds. We stayed in a villa with a full pool and it was heavenly. The staff were all super helpful and attentive and really made our stay better than the facilities would have done all on their own. The food was also excellent. Don’t miss the entree salads - so good!

Everything. Perfect location just a bit outside of the main strip, so peaceful and quiet. Staff is super friendly and helped book all the transport to/from the hotel. Would say it's (probably) the best upscale accommodation you can get on the island.

Absolute heaven on that island. A paradise away from the chaos, we loved going back to the hotel grounds to relax. Hafez especially gave us the most amazing welcome and made our entire stay incredible! Thank you to him for being so lovely and accommodating. The food was the best on the island, hands down.

All really great!

The hotel is located at a bit quieter side of the island so you are not disturbed with the noise from “center” area. Nice specious territory. Lovely private entrance to the beach line. Small villas are very atmospheric and give full sense of privacy. The staff is very attentive and service minded. The breakfast menu is absolutely fabulous - you mix and match what you want to get for each breakfast and everything is very very delicious. Great combo of local food and European food.

We stayed in a oceanfront private pool villa. It was beautiful and spacious and situated with a large landscaped open area in front . We loved sitting on the deck for breakfast (a very substantial included breakfast and you could eat it wherever you liked) or an evening wine. The beach restaurant was stunning on white white sand. The staff were fabulous and very friendly and welcoming. Such an awesome stay - we will definitely come back.
