Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaMake sure to book in for the pottery class prior to check-in; we almost missed out, which would have been a big disappointment. I feel it's overpriced, but if you keep an eye out for a better-rated one, you would be happy.
The staff was lovely, especially Basuki. As we were checking out, he took us to see the owls and the temple :) We almost missed out on the pottery studio, but they squeezed us in. The breakfast is fabulous. The beach club and its staff were wonderful. Also great with a child :)

AustraliaThe hotel location was a little further from the main road and when we were in the hotel property, it takes quite long to order a grab.
The room was very spacious as we were upgraded to junior suite. The breakfast choices were great, so much varieties and tasty. We really enjoyed our stay.

AustraliaWe didn’t realise but it’s actually a 20-25 min drive down to Uluwatu and the beach. It means if you’re with kids, you need to get a car every time you want to go to one of the cafes or restaurants down in Uluwatu or do an excursion. Be mindful especially when coming back to the hotel at night, with traffic it can take up to an hour to get back. That was really the only thing we didn’t like - location
Absolutely spectacular property. The staff are incredible. Beautiful pools, restaurant, kids club, buffet was delicious. The only downside is that it’s actually quite far from Uluwatu itself.

United KingdomThe balcony was a bit unkept. Th view was not good as they are clearing the fields for a luxury apartment block and they were burning things all day. There are also works in the lobby all day at the moment and that did disturb peaceful sunbathing.
We really liked the hotel. It was in the vicinity of the activities we wanted to do and getting around in Uluwatu is not as bad as some of the other areas. The room itself was lovely and clean, the balcony was a bit grottier as it had paint peeling, however it was fine. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner is excellent and the staff are all attentive.

South KoreaNothing.
Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. Breakfast offers a wide selection to choose from. The R-Bar has beautiful views of Uluwatu, and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. They offer fun activities throughout the day like poolside bingo, and complementary slushes and cocktail tasters.

AustraliaIncredible space to relax in. We stayed for 2 nights but never felt the need to leave the hotel at all. Everything was amazing. It isn't cheap for Bali but you do get service that warrants the price.

Hong KongThere are only two complaints and they really weren't a big deal. - The wifi is not great in areas - There are no baby changing tables in the bathrooms if your baby takes a number 2!
We were weighing up whether to stay at the Radisson Blu or the Renaissance when we were looking to book a hotel in Uluwatu. Even though the Radisson is closer to the majority of the restaurants, bars, cafes and shops - I can honestly say that we were so happy that we booked the Renaissance. The hotel is fantastic and it was the perfect place to start our two week family holiday. We spent 7 nights here before going on to the Conrad in Nusa Dua for 8 nights and the whole family agreed (myself, my wife and my mother and father) that the Renaissace was the better hotel. What makes it so special? The Staff! They are absolutely fantastic and take customer service to another level. You really feel that they are invested in you having a great time. They can't do enough for you. Aside from the amazing staff, breakfast is fantastic and caters for all dietary needs, the rooms were great (we stayed in Junior suites), the kids club was a great break for my kids when they wanted a break from the pool. Having access to Roosterfish beach club was also great if you are looking for a family friendly beach club environment (face painting, foam parties, etc.) but still enjoyable for the adults. I know many of the reviews complain about the location but we had no problem with it. It's 20mins to anywhere west (where majority of restaurants and bars are), 20mins to the south (beach clubs like Sundays and Roosterfish) and 20mins to Jimbaran all with no traffic. There are places 5 mins down the round for laundry and little amenities if you need. Overall a GREAT place. Thank you to the staff at the Renaissance. We loved it.

Australiano hot water at night, took almost 1 hour and not fixed and got changed room, so i have my shower at around 12 midnight. i just feel there's a better way to fixed this because your tenants are here to rest and relax, shower at 12 means i should be going to sleep at 12:30, which is really tiring for the next day plan.
everything here is great except the hot water issue
