Roots Tree House is a magical place. If you’ve ever wanted to live in a treehouse, you must visit this place. The staff is really great. There was a small leak in the roof because we were there during the rainy season, so they gave us a bigger room for free. They’re really positive people who genuinely want you to enjoy your stay.

Since you’re in the forest, there are some insects in the room, but it only added to the adventure and didn’t bother us at all. The pool was a perfect spot to relax, surrounded by lush greenery. Amazing location and very beautiful houses. Good breakfast although portions are probably not very big. Facilities are very nice, I would like to come back here again one day. Also very nice management on behalf of Anna, who take a very good care of us and was worried for us to feel comfortable.

Amazing property, photos don’t do it justice! Such a unique experience, sadly we only got to experience it for 1 night. Good location to do GWK, or beaches in Uluwatu but nothing around within walking distance - which wasn’t a problem for us. The banana pancake breakfast was super tasty too.

I stayed in the tree house (double room with balcony). The photos you see on booking.com are exactly as they are in person. I was so happy with my room. it really felt like I was staying in a tree house. It was exactly what I had hoped for and more! I will definitely stay here again. It was a beautiful experience laying in bed with the russtling leaves and beautiful breeze on a hot morning or afternoon. Your own little oasis in Bali! 15-20 from Nusa Dua or Ulluatu. There is air conditioning and a fan to use also.

My friend and I recently stayed at the Roots Tree House Resort, in the Lumbung tree house, and it was an unforgettable experience. I was nervous about being in a jungle atmosphere with insects. But it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and bug free! The property is amazing, with a serene and natural ambiance that is perfect to relax and unwind. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. The staff were incredibly courteous, especially Eka, Luh de and Claudia. They made us feel right at home. The tree houses are well designed, offering comfort and all amenities to offer a unique experience that we highly recommend. The location is nice as it’s away from the busy beach strip but very easy to access by cab or bike.

Everything about the place was absolutely beautiful and kept in pristine condition. The staff were very friendly and always happy to help. In the cotton tree house you are able to see so many beautiful butterflies and bugs when you open up the big window over looking the garden. The treehouses are surrounded by beautiful lush trees full of interesting insects and butterflies. If you are a nature lover this place is perfect.

The tree houses are so well made. They blend in so well with the trees. The roof opening in our tree house was such a joy. Despite the lack of AC, we did not find it hot at night, in-fact, most mornings we woke up feeling a nice chill.
