Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Hong Kongonly local liquors included in silver package but friendly staff is willing to make even signature cocktails with the local liquors. Food could have been 5-10% better but can't complain too much. poolside chairs are mostly blocked by some towel reservation system, so can be a bit hard to get one.
great poolside bar, nice place to meet people. friendly staff. full board all inclusive package is pretty decent spacious rooms

United KingdomBlocking of pool sun loungers. We saw 2 blocked from 8am but not used until 3.30 pm. Sign says don't reserve longers but clearly not enforced.
Great location. We were not on all inclusive but wasn't necessary as there are plenty of good restaurants within easy reach.

AustraliaLocation was a bit remote. Pool closed at 8pm which was disappointing as we love a dip after dinner. Too many cruise ship tourist visitors taking up pool and beach space for guests.
Facilities were great, entertainment every night. Breakfast was fabulous. Loved the pool bar and beach area.

United KingdomThe fact that it is all-inclusive obviously attracts a different kind of clientele and some of them could be quite noisy and disturb an otherwise peaceful and beautiful hotel,.
A beautiful hotel in a good location. I liked the more traditional Balinese style although in parts looking a little dated. Pool area is excellent but looking in need of some maintenance. The meals in the restaurants were very good including the multi-choice breakfast buffet. We were not on all-inclusive and didn’t try the buffet-lunch and dinner. The bedroom we had was spacious ( only the standard room too) and very comfortable with spacious luxury bathrooms. Nice balcony with garden/pool views on the second floor. As is often the case in Bali, all the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. We stayed here for the last 3 nights of a 2-week trip to Bali and Nusa Lembongan as only a 15 minute taxi ride to the airport.

Australiathe beach is not what what the photos show. A bit deceiving. I didn’t swim in it as it’s not inviting at all and at times stunk. Tide was out a fair bit most days too. pool closed between 6 and 6.30 with no night time swimming at all. Pool Bar fridges needed to be cooler. Hubby said beers were borderline warm.
all the staff were friendly and always smiling. Swimming pool was lovely to swim in. Buffet food was always fresh and plentiful. night entertainment was free and great to watch.

AustraliaThe towels in the room were very old and there wasn’t hand towels or flannels provided for your face. The pillows were very uncomfortable. Other guests reserve pool sun loungers and then go out for the day and there’s barely anywhere to sit, this needs to be monitored by the staff and towels removed!
The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean and maintained every day. The A la carte dining was great and the buffet breakfast was fantastic!

AustraliaThe food at the resort was on the average side. Breakfast was great but not the best lunch and dinner/room service. Found ourselves going to Bali Collection to eat. They also didn't tell us about a private function that went for 2 days that was extremely noisy late at night with music and loud speakers. It also closed the main breakfast area and guests had to eat breakfast out side which wasn't great with all the flys.
We stayed at SOL Melia for 1 week during our 2 werk stay to Bali. 2 Adults and 1 toddler (2yo) The resort was lovely and quiet. The private beach clean and calm. The pool was great too with a smaller kids pool. We stayed in a family room which gave us heaps of space for our toddler to keep busy. Room was very spacious and clean. Really loved that they filled the mini bar once a day (included in package)
