Great location with beautiful grounds. The rooms are adequate but the noise from adjacent rooms and outside was very bad. In the evening there was a lot of noise from the room above and some loud traffic noise from the adjacent road. Took a sleeping pill and used earplugs but got woken up at 04.45 by a nearby mosque which was very noisy for 10 mins. Five minutes later church bells started, which intermittently rang for the next hour.

Only suggestion is to add mosquito screens to at least several windows in each room so guests can make the most of the cool breezes and low overnight temperatures. Too many mosquitos to leave windows open at night otherwise even though the compound is fogged fortnightly.

Hotel situated in a nice pleasant compound near centre of Ruteung. Check in smooth and room ready on arrival. Rooms comfortable and clean. All the basic essentials provided. Only suggestion is to add mosquito screens to at least several windows in each room so guests can make the most of the cool breezes and low overnight temperatures. Restaurant was excellent and food and service good. Would stay here again.

The only window in the room faced onto the (open air) corridor used to get to the other rooms, which meant that it was sometimes rather noisy.

The rooms were not fancy but clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had good hot water. The grounds were beautiful - green, nicely landscaped, and with nice fish ponds. The breakfast buffet was good quality and with reasonable variety of food items.

Nothing about the hotel. if you need a scooter or a driver, our experiences weren't good, the quality of equipement wasn't sufficient to provide security during the transport.

Hotel very comfortable, calm, with a very nice garden. The restaurant is quite expensive, but meat is really of good quality, and generous. breakfast is gorgeous : the best omelette of Florès, very tasty fruits, ang even yogourts !

It was noisy with traffic where our room was and being ground floor we could hear everything upstairs when the guests walked around sounded like elephants I guess because of the timber floors also plumbing issues kept us awake ☹️

The property had beautiful gardens, rooms had everything you could ask for except a bar fridge, staff ver very friendly, restaurant on site, great breakfast with many options

There are no window in the bathroom nor VMC so it smells a little but it's more than manageable.

The hotel is reall nice with a small lake in the middle, The room are spacious and well-equiped (hair dryer, tv with netflix) and the Wi-Fi is nice. There is also a restaurant where you eat really well for 200.000Idr The breakfast is a buffet with some indonesian food, tea and coffee. You can also ask for pancakes, omelets or scramble eggs.

Paper-thin walls, people sleeping in the building across the street can hear the trucks and the neighbour's rooster, as well as people in the other room.

A very good value for money choice. The most beautiful hotel in Ruteng. Comfortable beds and a beautiful garden await the visitor.

When we arrived, our beds and everything smells like someone had been smoking nearby. They quickly moved us to another room when we reported it, but if you're sensitive to this smell you might not like it

After 2 weeks on Flores, it was a great Hotel with good equipment. They helped us organise a bus to go to Labuan Badjo at a low cost (150k each)

Clean modern room. The hotel is in the style of of a mini European wooden cottage. Very charming. Ruteng itself is cold at night, due to its high elevation. A nice place to stay and rest before moving on to other places.

After a couple of underwhelming budget stays in LBJ, staying at Spring Hill was such a relief. It’s such a relaxing and tranquil place in a quiet area of the city, surrounded by a nice garden. Rooms are in a sort of bungalow style and well curated, the bed and shower were some of the best we had in Indonesia (and finally, a non-smelly bathroom). Breakfast was great, they even had Nutella! Adjacent Chino-Indonesian restaurant was also nice and great option if you’re checking in in the evening and don’t want to head to the city
