Water pressure and temperature in the shower was unpredictable. Towels were substandard, being greyish and tatty.

Beautiful resort with wonderful staff and amazing service. Perfect if you prefer peace and quiet. We had the garden deluxe room which is even nicer than in pictures. The hotel grounds are in perfect condition and clean. I also recommend The sudajiva spa for relaxing massage

There is a bar across the street that plays really loud music. It's a little disturbing, especially in the late evening.

I stayed there two nights and the location is superb! The walk to the beach it's very short and pleasant. The beach promenade is quite and lovely for a walk. The hotel room itself has a nice aesthetic, really good balcony and it was very clean. I really like the little art space that they have.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep every night of our stay. The hotel's amenities are top-notch. The Sudajiva Spa was a sanctuary of relaxation, offering a wide range of treatments that left us feeling rejuvenated. Dining at Ares was an exceptional experience. The restaurant offered a variety of delicious dishes, and the service was impeccable. What truly sets Sudamala Resort - Sanur apart is the staff. Every interaction we had, from the front desk to housekeeping, from the servers to the therapists, was marked by friendliness and a commitment to excellent service. The pool area isn't the largest, and often all beds were taken. Sometimes it was kind of hard to see if someone was using the bed or not. There would be a towel and maybe some personal items, but no one would show up for hours.

Amazing hotel with kind staff. A very tranquil location, yet close to alle Sanur hotspots. Very large rooms and beds. The hotel is gorgeous and breakast was great. We really felt like royals. A nice detail was the bed time story and the freshly baked cookies every night. Definitely go here!

Unfortunately there is a problem with water pressure and almost every morning the water suddenly would stop completely and then come back on and off and it is not pleasant if you are covered with soap. The food was pretty average for its price. We choose to eat elsewhere.

We stayed at Sudamala for the second time because we adore the rooms , the garden and the swimming pools. All are superbly presented and it is a joy

There was an event there that included stage setup and sound checks. It also made impossible to extend my stay. But I’m happy the hotel is busy.

Although Sanur isn’t my favorite town and the hotel is not on the beach, it’s a hidden oasis away from the hectic hustle and bustle of many areas in Bali. I’d rank the entire experience on par with the Four Seasons. I will be back!

Some rooms didn't appear to be operational, so some refurbishment may be required.

So enjoyable to enjoy a more 'Bali' experience than at so many more modern accommodations. The staff are wonderful, the gardens are beautiful, excellent breakfast and the Sudamala is a lovely place for a more traditional stay.

The rooms are really spacious and the staff is great. We used their bicycles a couple of times. One time it was raining so bad that we had to call a taxi. The hotel picked the bikes up without any charge.

The nights were a little noisy. We had one night with a construction site working through the night across the road (following which the hotel moved us to a different room and were very good) plus 2 nights of heavy rain which made a heavy impression on the straw based roofing material and kept us awake. (Appreciating the hotel couldn’t do anything to avoid this.)

Facilities were very comfortable and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They were first class.

Beautiful, quiet resort in a wonderful location in Sanur. The food was the best we've ever had at a resort. Breakfast was amazing! Studio room was very comfortable with a great view. Staff were friendly and helpful, it was a joy to stay here. We will definitely be staying at Sudamala Sanur again!!

The beach was a bit of a hike. Good 8-10 minute walk. However once you were there lots of hotel only loungers absolute beachfront with umbrellas. Lots of fantastic restaurants on the beachfront

The hotel grounds are beautiful and the room we were in was huge. The bathroom was indoor/outdoor with a huge shower head and good bathroom amenities. The pool was beautiful and we always got pool loungers. Great staff always willing to help. The hotel also provides free bike hire.
