Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaWe didn’t like that there was no quick reply from the team. We wrote many times to them on whatsapp and the y answered late. Like next day.

United StatesThere were monkeys that stole our drinks outside, so I highly recommend to keep everything inside the room with the door closed. But because their concept is back to nature, it's really fine for us.
The breakfast was amazing, we had a wonderful breakfast with Bingin beach view. My roow was really amazing too, we enjoyed the vibes so much.

New ZealandI understand that this is not the responsibility of The Korowai but it would be nice if the community could arrange a beach clean. Unfortunately, there was a bit of rubbish washed up and wedged in the rocks / trees by the ocean. This is no reflection on the property though. The hotel was truly stunning.
The location was beautiful, quiet and remote for a popular destination in Bali. The staff were extremely friendly and went beyond to make sure that you were comfortable. The bedroom was so stunning - with the best views!

AustraliaThe walk in IS a bit of a mission. A little track with lots of steps up and down. BUT they warn you and we were well aware of it and we reckon it was worth it. The beach is tide dependent.
The venue is amazing. Great views right from your deck. Unique bathroom, very well designed. Easy walk down to impossibles surf spot..

RomaniaThere were a lot of monkeys near the location, in the afternoon we couldn't stay at the balcony because of them. It is not proper for children. We barely could stay on the terrace of the restaurant because the monkeys were very agressive and the stuff couldn't control them. Even the street from the main road to the acommodation is full of monkeys. The towels were degraded. One in our group was wounded by a tomcat, a very rare insect with a powerful venom, and he needed medical help. The tomcat was found in his clothes, stored in the room. The conditions are very poor for the price we paid.
The View is awsome.

FranceThe price is a joke for the quality of the place, you only pay for the view. Wayyy overpriced for the experience, not even including breakfast. The staff was very friendly and smiley.

AustraliaThe showers didn’t drain properly, and the bed was a bit hard, and so were the pillows. Can’t use the outdoor area because of the monkeys but not much you can do about that:)

AustraliaLoved everything, but it is harder to find "off the beaten path" and there is a bit off a walk with steep section. You do need to beware of monkeys (keep doors and windows closed, when not in room). But the hotel communicate all this beforehand, both when booking, email and whatsapp before your arrival. Menu small but everything was tasty, and beers/wine only. When we felt like something different we just hired a scooter from the hotel and plenty of places close by.
Absolutely stunning location with incredible views. Rooms very comfortable and beautifully presented. Staff always happy to help and very friendly. So amazing falling asleep to the sound of the ocean below, we kept the curtains open at night because we didn't want to miss a moment of the view. Only a few room so it feels quite intimate, great for honeymoon/couples. Quiet and relaxing

AustraliaAccess to the resort was difficult, down a steep uneven pathway and many stairs. Definitely not for the old or unfit. Access to the beach was the same but it is called Impossibles beach!
Breakfast was simple but nice. Unfortunately there was an unpleasant smell if the wind blew from the west whilst in the restaurant but it was very rustic and being on the cliff face was amazing. The staff were so lovely and attentive - nothing was too much trouble for them.

United StatesIf you are looking for peace, quiet, and the sound of waves, this may not be the place for you in March/April/May of 2024. This hotel is completely surrounded by active construction projects (like 5-10 feet from your room you'll hear drilling, sawing, nail guns, workers' phones playing videos/music, and hammering). It goes from 8 am to 7 pm on and off with a break midday. To be fair, ALL of Uluwatu is a construction zone so you'd be hard pressed to find a spot without the sound of drilling - the manager gave me half off my food because it was so loud which was really kind. I recommend the hotel inform people after they book of the construction next store and onsite (the walk to the beach you literally walk under ladders and dodge buckets of cement). I had two other villas inform me of construction prior to my stay so it dulls the pain a bit. The staff and/or construction workers are usually of sitting around smoking or chilling in hallways so you it feels a bit like you are in their space. Other things to know: MONKEYS - I am not spooked by monkeys but these ones are quite intense even with the provided fire crackers. They were on my terrace within a minute trying to get my phone, wine, and generally in your space aggressively. I would avoid your terrace at dusk. I sat in restaurant and as long a you don't make eye contact, they leave you and your food alone. CLUB There is a nearby club that plays music all night so Avicii is in your room with you (earplugs do the trick) - I was there Thurs/Fri but could be more mellow other nights. MILK I drink cow milk but they didn't have almond or oat milk for lactose intolerants folks - just a heads up! TP - There was something about the design of the bathrooms where any rain completely soaked my bathroom and toilet paper. They need to install covering for toilet paper rolls - continued to be a surprise to find entirely soaked rolls each morning
Staff is kind (albeit they felt new), the views are really something, AC is powerful, cute design of bathrooms, and the food at the restaurant was great. The little beach does have some trash on it (and I was there in March 2024 when rainy season brings more trash), but once the tide goes out you have plenty of white sand all to yourself. I went to a few other beaches in Uluwatu, and this private one felt special to have as the others were crowded and loud. The walk down to the hotel is no more than 5 minutes, but I am happy I left my luggage at a previous hotel and just packed a small backpack. They provide great bathroom/hygiene amentities (bamboo toothbrush, charcoal toothpaste, conditioner) Overall an okay stay but they charged way too much for what it is.
