Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BahamasThe music in the restaurant was just a bit loud- I wouldn’t have enjoyed staying in a room near to it.
The room was lovely. I loved the layout and design- very Miami Beach style. I appreciated that the hotel was small and felt cozy. It is away from the hustle and bustle.

IndonesiaAircon is warm, needs to be changed or change the freon. There is no bidet spray in the toilet. Rate is surprisingly on the higher side, the restaurant definitely increased the price as it is very similar price with belmond’s restaurant
Location is great. Nestled in kedonganan jimbaran so it is not too busy. Staffs are helpful.

United KingdomIf you’re looking for a place in Jimbaran that feels like home but better, The Open House is it. This intimate hotel offers a sense of calm and authenticity that’s a breath of fresh air compared to the big resorts nearby. From the moment we arrived, the staff were impeccable—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. A special shoutout to Cening, who went above and beyond, Eka for keeping us laughing, and Nura Hari for the incredible food. Speaking of food—don’t leave without trying the tacos and nasi goreng! Every meal was delicious. The hotel helped organize some fantastic activities for us, including a visit to the local fish market and a cooking class (highly recommend!), plus a driver to explore nearby attractions like Uluwatu Temple. The rooms? Spacious, spotless, with a comfy bed and a great shower. The pool was lovely, and the massage was pure bliss. If you want a peaceful, personal, and truly special stay in Jimbaran, this is the place. We’ll be back!

ChinaThe walkway from the reception to the room could be wider and made to look nicer with more plants. The drink and food menu was very pricey. The hotel restaurant would attract more customers if they lowered their prices, especially for the drinks.
The staff at the hotel were all amazing and kind. They greet you with a delicious snack and refreshing welcome drink upon check-in. The room was also clean, decorated well and they provide refillable water bottles to minimize environmental damage and waste which was greatly appreciated. The coffee during breakfast was also very nice!

United StatesThe room is too small, there is no proper chair inside the room for sitting. The terrace has two chairs and a couch but January in Bali is very hot and humid. It's boutique hotel. At the right time of the year, it is probably good but unfortunately we were there in January.
The best thing this hotel has is that it is close to Cuca, an excellent tapas restaurant. Breakfast is good. The hotel has a decent restaurant, a massage parlor, a swimming pool. Our room has a terrace. The staff are very good and the room is clean. Service is very good. The hotel is almost next to the beach but when we were there the beach was not clean.

United KingdomLack of privacy with the glass toilet door inside the bedroom. Not enough sunbeds by the pool. Not the hotel’s fault, but the beach at the end of the road was dirty & full of rubbish.
Lovely pool, nice staff & an excellent breakfast was served. The hotel is a little oasis of calm in quite a busy area, down a side road off the main road. Room comfortable & the staff very helpful; had a good massage there too. The dinner food was also excellent, really tasty & fresh, not the cheapest but good quality in a nice setting. Good Spanish restaurant next door too.

SwedenThe prices at the restaurant are surprisingly expensive (almost the same as 5 stars resorts). But there are cheaper food options close by (and ordering from Grab)
Super friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, good location super close to the beach, nice pool, clean rooms, and good vibes.

United KingdomThe section of the beach that it’s near wasn’t the cleanest at the time we visited (however it was rainy season so that may be due to flooding) but the hotel has an amazing pool so this wasn’t too much of an issue.
Great location and very clean beautiful hotel. I personally don’t think the photos online do the rooms justice - they’re spacious, very clean and have lots of small nice touches to make things extra eco friendly! Staff were all super lovely and helpful - they were so attentive!

AustraliaRoom smelt like bleach, but I think it has just been cleaned for check in. Smell went away after fan was on and balcony doors opened a little. Not a problem, but just note that the bathroom is in the bedroom (separated by glass doors).
Quiet area. Very friendly staff. Relaxing pool area with nice music from the cafe/restaurant area. Breakfast was a la carte - I recommend the omelette with side of mushrooms. Rooms are nice size, and pretty aesthetic. Very calming. I liked the local area, there are heaps of seafood restaurants around the corner, and local fish/produce markets. Would definitely come back.

SwedenWe ended our Bali vacation at this nice small hotel. Great service, fresh pool and tastefull a la carte breakfast. 1 minute to the beach with many cozy restaurants. Jimbaran is significantly quieter and better than Kuta and Sanur. The hotel is close to the airport, so perfect as the start or end of a Bali trip.

United KingdomThis isn’t to do with the hotel but this area of Jimbaran is not particularly nice, nor is it for tourists (which may be fine by you!). I had a wander down to the beach and it was not very pleasant, lots of washed up litter and dead fish. It had just been storming so I understand this is why - it’s not a complaint but more if you’re dreaming of beautiful white beaches then this isn’t what I saw in mid December. I found the town quite tricky to walk through (very consciously a tourist with few others) but did find a good number of seafood restaurants, with a bit of perseverance! If you are planning to either sit by the pool all week or get taxis/transport to others areas then this hotel is great. If you’re hoping to explore the surrounding area on foot I’d suggest going slightly further down the coast (south) towards the “nicer” and admittedly more touristy bit of town.
Beautiful clean room with shower and toilet en-suite. Super comfortable bed made the jet lag easier to manage! Really friendly and helpful staff, couldn’t do enough to assist including booking taxi transfers for me, and I was welcomed warmly even when I arrived in from the airport very late at night. The pool and its surrounding area was beautiful, lots of sunbeds and a nice place to sit and read my book. My room had a little balcony which was nice too. I ate in the restaurant for 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner, food was simple Indonesian and delicious, reasonably priced too.
