The staff could not have done any more to make our honeymoon incredibly special for us. From the blessing we received when we arrived, the service was faultless - attentive but not intrusive. The outlook from the Royal Suite was sublime and the suite itself gorgeous and spacious. But it was all the little things from hand written messages on leaves at breakfast, to the gifts and flowers in the room that truly touched us and make the Royal Santrian a stand out. This is so much more than a boutique resort - it becomes your Balinese home with soul. To each and every member of staff, we thank you. Your warmth and service is nothing short of impeccable and we will be back again! PS The Balinese cooking class is a must and Chef, we have proudly cooked the dishes a number of times since returning home!

Initial villa happened to be quite close to the road and therefore the early noise of Bali, which is to be expected. When I enquired about a move closer to the seafront this was accommodated without hesitation. When I enquired about upgrading to the Royal Villa this was also accommodated and to be honest, it made the stay all the more enjoyable. The rains came during our stay, and I mean ‘the rains came’. It is the rainy season, but even the locals were surprised (there was no rain at all at the same time last year). The extra room made all the difference, as did the view, and the two complimentary spa treatment as well. The staff were very attentive and obviously highly trained and motivated. This made the difference. There was also a hotel car available to drop us off/pick us up at the local shopping centre, which was a nice place to visit. The outside of the hotel was the normal Bali streets and not really up to much.

FinlandAC machine was old and loud. All extras (e.g. transportation arrangements, boats, etc.) were unexceptionally expensive - even more expensive than in more exclusive five star hotels. I wasn’t sure if the manager tried to scam me off or have they really agreed that they will do extraordinary profit margins with third party service provider. Staff is still nice and service level is very good.
Super nice small boutique like hotel with spacious villas. Peace and quiet - great breakfast, restaurant quality-to-price ratio is good. Very helpful staff

We really enjoyed our stay in a private vila with pool the Royal Santrian. The villa is quite large and offers a lot of privacy. The private pool with sunbeds and covered seating area is amazing. The garden is very nicely looked after. The hotel offered some free water, soft drinks and snacks. The staff was very friendly.

In one word "amazing"! The warm welcome fully in Balinese style, the easy process of checking in, the service and personal approach, alway with a smile, this feels like home... or better. And then the villa... what a stunning place. it is huge and has all facilities one can think of in your wildest dreams. Each villa (20 in total) has its own private pool, outdoor relaxing patio and outdoor shower area. Indoors the massive living/ bedroom with high ceilings and all luxury. The bathroom is almost the same size as the bedroom with again all one can wish for. In total this private villa has a surface of 300m². Housekeeping is excellent and keeps track of every little detail. Every member of the staff is super friendly and helpful. In fact they help you, before you even realize that you needed it. We were amazed by the infrastructure of the whole hotel, which has the size of a resort, yet comprises only 20 villa's. The restaurant is great and the breakfast (à la carte} offers a changing menu every day. The afternoon tea at the beach is a "must do". The hotel is directly at the beach with an own "private beach". Along the coast you can walk to the other resorts. Bikes and Kajaks are free to use. Many thanks to the whole team for pampering us during our honeymoon. Special kudo's to Housekeeping and the staff at the restaurant.

IndiaThe fitting could be more new. The pool side deck could use a coat of polish. The breakfast for an ala carte type was not outstanding. The yogurt was not perfect, the options were good but not great. The bread basket could be much better. But its not a deal breaker. Just could use a more high end chef. The ac draft come directly on our heads at night. The shower outside the villa for post pool use was prickly, and needed a new shower head. Small things, but for usd 750 plus a night these should be better.
Location is outstanding. The layout of the property is relaxed. The service is very good. The room size and feel is excellent. The shuttle service to Bali Collective is efficient. The place has a non resort feel, in the sense it is not crowded or a cookie cutter resort beach holiday. For those looking for non hurried or non crowded and a more quiet holiday. Huge contrast to our resort at Seminyak. Afternoon high tea was nice. The restaurant menu has many veg options. The restaurant food was very good. The dinner by the beach was amazing.
