The hotel can't help this much and they do what they can but the local monkeys swimming and defecating in the pool wasn't great. Everything else is perfect

The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. I got sick with Bali Belly and they were able to arrange for a Dr to come with an IV and other medications, very quickly at about 1am in the morning. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble.

Limited restaurant options and menus. Some sort of shop would make a great addition as the nearest is a taxi ride away.

Amazing views from the cliff top. Sundays beach club was great fun and always lively. AVilla was spacious, clean and well equipped with lovely communal gardens, lounge and pool area.The cinema room was a nice addition although we didn’t use it ourselves.

Only issue was the moneys that were not that friendly when trying to enter the private pool. However it is their home not ours and we did not see any other monkeys at any of the pools or facilities.

The villa was stunning and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Sundays Beach Club makes this resort extra special.

Absolutely fantastic and no words to describe how best it was. From beginning to end we had our butler Whiz who went out of his way to make us feel at home and to assist with everything We had NY Eve BBQ and it was outstanding ! Thank you chef!

Not much to complain about. Due to rainy season there were lots of mosquitoes which made it hard to enjoy outdoors area at times. The beach bar Sundays is fab but despite the handy elevator there are still a lot of stairs to get up and down for someone who isn’t good with stairs and heat. That’s being picky.

The villas were beautifully done, the food was excellent, the staff were wonderful. My butler Eka was so lovely and nothing was any trouble. Loved the calico mosquito tent around the bed - super cosy and useful too. Gorgeous gardens, great pools. Great hotel all round. Cute monkeys.

The rooms were a little tired, with some bubbling and discolored paint and could definitely use a refresh.

A stunning location with lovely room and excellent facilities. Sundays Beach Club was a highlight, as was the service provided by the staff, they saw to our every need. The breakfast was very high quality, some of the best sourdough I've had in my life!

There was a wedding happening there during our stay and sometimes the food was slow coming out of the kitchen.

The hotel was beautiful and so relaxing. I loved the private areas for each villa section. Having a butler really made the experience feel luxurious. The views were spectacular and having breakfast on the rooftop patio was amazing.

The butler got my name wrong after we stayed there for the night, he was unwilling to offer us service, told us to take a grab instead, the the check in was slow and we didn’t get a late check out not even half an hour but we’re there for honeymoon, the entire experience service wise was not pleasant we didn’t feel welcomed and whole experience was quite reactive instead of active serving, there were 8 monkeys in our pool and we did mention it to them, we just wanted a swim after the monkey is gone, he or the hotel should offer to clean the pool instead of me asking you to clean the pool, it’s common sense, given there were 8 monkeys in the pool, nothing was really done to make our stay feel special we got the feeling they wanted us to leave asap, your staff at the Sunday club was also slow, the priority should be given to in-hotel guests, and we had to stand there and wait, I saw where my name was listed and I reminded her in on the second page on the top of the page and she still didn’t see it, you gave those batches for Sunday club we should have been let straight through, everything in this hotel was poorly arranged there’s not service involved for the amount of money we paid, he the butler should have offered to help with transport with breakfast with afterwards transport or any sort of activities, he did not offer, he is not willing to give us the pale ale and told us to get a bintang instead because he doesn’t want to walk all the way to the restaurant bar maybe. You think these things go unnoticed but every details counts, you call yourself 5 star hotel resort and yet your service cannot be even compared with to a little treehouse in Ubud

The pool villa view itself is quite nice also the size of the villa is smaller than expected, the amenities are nothing more nothing less than expected

Toilets can be improved, they are not like the rest of the room. It is a bit old, a bit dirty and zero design.

If i say everything , i would not be lying. I never thought about it can love a hotel this much. Especially outdoor shower was amazing.

The only minor downside was that the hotel frequently hosts weddings (twice during our 3-night stay). This made it a bit inconvenient to use the restaurant, access the beach, and the pool near the reception (though it's not the only pool available).

While the clifftop location provides stunning views and a refreshing breeze, we did find that the cooler temperatures made the pool water a bit brisk at times. It would be wonderful to have the option to heat the pools, especially during cooler days, to enhance the already fantastic experience.

We recently spent an unforgettable 7 days at CHINTAMANI Villas, part of The Ungasan Clifftop Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a serene escape, enjoying the luxury of our private clifftop pool and the breathtaking surroundings. Although there are five villas on the property, during our stay, it felt as if we had the entire place to ourselves. The staff truly elevated our experience, with Hari and Eka, our butlers, providing exceptional service, and Putu, the manager and mixologist at Waatu Restaurant, impressing us with his expertise. CHINTAMANI Villas has now become our go-to destination for unwinding. The culinary offerings, whether at the villa, the resort's restaurants, or the beach club, were consistently outstanding. Initially, we were concerned that staying on the property for a week might limit our dining options or lead to menu fatigue. However, that concern quickly vanished. The food was so delicious that we barely scratched the surface of the extensive menus available. We absolutely loved this luxurious slice of paradise, the breakfasts were beyond incredible and so plentiful - one morning served floating in the pool which was so fancy - the service was impeccable and the butler service is exceptional. Sundays is the perfect little day time spot to visit and every little detail was perfect. Highly recommend!

The resort is amazing. It is beautiful and clean. Sundays Beach Club is a lovely touch. The food and drinks were well priced. There was a delay in service especially when ordering from the afternoon butler. It took about an hour for a drink to be delivered to the room. Other than that there were no complaints at all. Staff were really good.
