Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandSomething they couldn't avoid but the renovations were noisy in the smaller pool area. But very minor.
Huge complex which is great for kids with a lot of families choosing this hotel. Loads of acivities, including a kids club for them and 3 diffeent pools to choose from so plenty of space. The breakfasts were amazing - best i've ever had with so many options - amazing fresh juices, smoothy bowls ,fruits, fresh bakery not to mention all the cooked options. There is a walkway right on the beach so you wonder down and eat ot a number of different restaurants on the beach. Close to the Bali collective where you can swing down for some shopping or cheaper meals. -5-10min walk. Nusa Dua if you're looking for a quieter more relaxing option with the family is a great location for part of your Bali trip. We did 5 nights and Nusa Dua and the same at Seminayk which we really enjoyed. Will definitely be back to the Westin hotel for our next family holiday.

AustraliaThere are not enough handrails in the swimming pool for people to get in and out of the pool. The adult pool are generally too deep for average swimmers.

AustraliaTwo things really became an issue over time: the first was the price of food and drinks. Breakfast in particular was absolutely ridiculous (the equivalent of more than $30 AUD per person). However the Westin was not out of step with the rest of the Nusa Dua resorts here. Everything in Nusa Dua costs more than elsewhere on Bali. The second thing was what marred my stay and had me ready to leave by day 5: there were not enough gluten free options. I had been told the resort would cater to my dietary needs but they did not. Catering to my needs meant pointing out the items marked as GF on the menu, which were extremely few. Things that should’ve easily been GF were not e.g. satay, nachos. All in all, we enjoyed our stay but I wouldn’t stay at the Westin for more than three days next time because of the food options and prices.
The best parts of our stay at the Westin were the room (two bedroom suite), the location and the friendly, attentive staff. The kids also enjoyed the ping pong and billiard tables. The free bike use was a bonus and there were plenty of places to eat on site. We walked / rode a few times to Bali Collection and along the beach. Nusa Dua has a better climate than Kuta. Less sticky.

The staff were incredibly helpful. The facilities great, we spent most time by the pool but the beach area was also great. The breakfast had great options and all delivered. The room was spacious and the AC worked very well. The hotel is next to other hotels and you can walk on the beach path and have dinner / drinks at other hotels.

IndiaThe rooms require a complete revamp and the furniture is very old. There were red ants in the rooms and especially in the bathrooms.

AustraliaPrices were a little high compared to pre-covid prices to our previous visit to Bali although it's understood this could be due to inflation and Bali tax increases.
The entire personell that work at westin resort were very accommodating, and fulfilled all of our needs. Exceptional service, super clean hotel room and luxurious.

SingaporeFood handlers at pool - very difficult to get them to place order for Gluten Free diet needs. Day 1 - food came with egg the we empathized NO egg Day 2 - we wanted pizza from Prego and GF meal options, waited 20 mins they still can’t revert. Using my own mobile & call main line to put to the restaurant, placed my own order in last than 5 mins! 2 out of 5 got food poisoning from breakfast that we are sure from the watermelon juice or fruits. As we took from the same batch at the same time. Wasted 1 morning cos 1 diarrhea & 1 vomiting, call for help & doctor came, diagnosed, gave mediation, 1 managed to recover by 3pm, while the other took 2 days to recover. So all have to stay in hotel and can’t go anywhere.. no apology nor assistance for simple food like porridge etc We have to make our own initiative to order, explain why simple plain white rice porridge is needed.. While the other 3 got a discount from the Japanese restaurant cos we also dined there the night before and they were notified.
