Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI was travelling alone, and in the middle of the night two men came into my room. I started screaming and they ran out. Then 10 minutes later I hear the door open again. I ran to it and it was a male member of hotel staff. They had double booked the room and were opening the room to see if it was occupied. I was so terrified I couldn’t sleep.
Not much.

United Kingdomcouldn’t figure out the air con, it was really cold. bike parking was far away from the entrance, location meant you needed a bike to get anywhere really, we had one so it wasn’t such a problem, but there isn’t much around. pricey with these things considered.
room was really nice, food was good.

AustraliaBathroom was mouldy. The entire floor of the apartment kept getting really wet and slippery, which made me trip over a few times. We called the staff but their only solution was mopping, which made the floor wetter. The power went off a few times per day, and the air conditioner kept breaking.
The staff was friendly and the restaurant was good.

RussiaDidn't like the hotel. The rooms are in need of refurbishment as are the sheets and towels. The staff is friendly. But I had to turn to them too often - a safe with a dead battery, a refrigerator with a non-closing door, bedding with stains, towels also stained, gray, in tatters and for 2 adults and 1 child 3.5 years old they gave 2 large, 1 small, 1 for legs. There is no drying line, even a bathing suit has nowhere to dry. We also had to ask for a table on the balcony. Well, the main thing - if you turn off the air conditioner and open the door to the balcony, then because of the very cold floor, the entire floor in the room becomes wet. First time I see this. At the same time, there is so much water that it is poured into slippers. We even bought a rag and wiped it ourselves several times, but after 15 minutes it was covered in water again. The reviews wrote that it happens on the lower floors in this hotel, but we lived on the 8th floor out of 9. It went away after 4-5 days.
delicious breakfasts, 2 excellent pools, well-groomed territory.

SingaporeThe hotel is tired. Towels were old and needs replacing. The glass door of my shower could not close properly causing water all over the bathroom floor. Location is only good if you're NOT heading towards Uluwatu beaches. If you're without your own car, jt's difficult to get a rideshare.
The staff were gracious although seemed inexperienced. They were always helpful.

AustraliaRoom smelled terribly of mould and we both felt sick after staying in the room. We had to keep the air-conditioning off and the balcony doors open just to stay in the room. The bathrooms have been designed for looks and not functionality. The parking for motorcycles is at least 100m from the entrance. While this is a pretty minor gripe it's annoying when carrying lots of items or when it's raining.
Great breakfast and incredible view from the room.

United Kingdomon the first night we turned the ac off and the floors became extremely wet. when we contacted the front desk, it took more than 30 minutes for them to get back to us. when they did they said they will change our room, however told us that the floors may become wet here also. we therefore decided to wait until the morning to speak to the manager. when we did, the manager explained that on the lower floors condensation is bad and said she will change us to a higher floor where there will be no condensation. she was very apologetic. however, this problem has never happened in any other hotel i have stayed at. when we did change rooms, the floor was dirty with black splodges in the bathroom. Sari the manager did make up for the issues by offering us two massages.
big room although beds are all twin beds view from the restaurant Sari the manager is helpful doormen very pleasant and security only a 15-20 minute drive to most locations in uluwatu
