The location was a little disappointing as I was hoping for some beach time. But if you’re looking for pool time, great food and a safe, relaxing environment, it’s great.

Petra and the whole team were brilliant. The food was exceptional and the team couldn’t do enough. So kind and welcoming. Plus I had an excellent massage - highly recommend. A/C was good, room was clean.

They play music by the pool all day, which was nice but it started early and ended late. If you have one of the rooms closer to the common area then the music is really loud. So if you like to sleep in or go to bed early (which I do), then you'll feel the bass. There also isn't much to do in the area besides go to the beach. There are a few restaurants and bars but not many options.

The hotel was walking distance to the beach and had a nice pool. The staff was very friendly! Petra was great and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast had a nice selection of options and was tasty. I liked how you could refill your own water bottles in the common area.

The facilities offered for the price are quite limited—just the room and a swimming pool. The hotel arranged for a local cab that was extremely expensive by Bali standards, but they could have suggested using an app to order a cheaper taxi.Small details like these can make a stay much more pleasant. If you want extra bread, there's an additional charge. Considering the nightly rate, they could at least include an extra slice. Like I said small suggestions to make a stay more pleasant and comfortable.

It was really hard for driver to get into property due bad roads and constructions everywhere. Is a big contrast between property and area next to (like burning trash just at next corner). Property looks really good generally but some details should be refurbished like shower (water flowing halfway from the shower head and rain shower and the knob not working) or doors getting stuck when closing. We were negatively surprised with this details as after 4 stays in much cheaper guesthouses in Canggu, Ubud and Kuta we booked this over 4 time more expensive butique hotel for two nights expecting better quality but there wasn’t much difference :) Also we had probably bad lack as the purpose for us was to have one full day of chilling on the beautiful Instagram style pool after traveling for two weeks through whole Bali and this Saturday all day long they were mowing the grass just next to our sunbeds:(. Is really nice hotel but is an European price. I would be really happy having this quality for the price in Spain or Portugal but in Bali we expected more as similar stays can be booked for really lower prices. Also be aware of additional charity charge (nice initiative but should be mentioned before check in) and quite hight prices for additional coffees for breakfast and etc which we did not have in other places.

overpriced. For this money you can find in this area most good ratio (price:value). In menu (food, spa, drinks, …) prices indicates without 21% fees and 3% card fee.. so in final you get surprise in difference 24% :). the door of one room didn't hold - it would close - we had to insert some sort of holder underneath... Air conditioners are inconveniently placed - right above the beds... Very uncomfortable at night.

What was most special about this place was the staff and location. The beach was like old school Bali and we can not thank the staff enough for their assistance. Special thanks to Ms Petra who helped when I left my iPad behind.

The property is marketed almost too well - almost like a Instagram vs reality moment. There was extensive construction happening which rendered a lot of the facilities unusable and also meant during the day there was no chance to enjoy the facilities that were still open, while still paying full price and no prior communication from the property. This left us a little under whelmed as for the same nightly rate you can stay just down the road with an ocean view and better facilities.

The property is located well with a quick 2 minute walk to most areas in Balangan. It has a great pool area and common grounds and the ‘restaurant’ area is super nice. The rooms are large and well appointed, beds are comfortable and most importantly (according to my wife) the two pet cats Romeo and Juliet are hilariously cute. The staff/owners were friendly - offered helpful insight on places to visit and the owner even provided one of his personal surfboards for me to borrow, which was way over and above what was expected.

The room wasn’t clean there was lots of marks in the white painted floor and mice droppings all behind the sink unit. The breakfast came with the room but only 3 choices and other stuff you had to pay for which was a shame as the price of the room for the area was really expensive.

The beach nearby is beautiful but you can’t swim because of the rocs. More for surfers.

Seemed like the AC was not fully functioning, but may have been only our unit. A bit of a trek from more populated Pecatu and Bingin area where there are more bars and restaurants.

Conveniently close to Balangan Beach and Mazu Beach club, only a 5 minute walk. There are scooters for rent at the hotel, which you can take to explore nearby beaches. The hotel grounds are small, but intimate and styled in tasteful Bali boho chic decor. The breakfast is healthy and delicious! Stephanie, was incredibly helpful with recommendations on must-see locations. Grateful that she helped faciliate a reservation at beautiful Karma Kandara beach.

Only negative thing I have to say is that we were woken at 8am by banging right beside our room by hotel staff doing some sort of work… we were told we would get 2 free drinks to compensate for this inconvenience however still had to pay for the drinks when ordered. Also slightly more expensive compared to similar hotels.

Beautiful property, staff are lovely, right on the beach, overall great stay and will come back for sure!

The rooms could have been cleaner. Shower did not drain well.

The staff was wonderful, very communicative, and worked to ensure that we were well taken care of. They even brought some coconut water and activated charcoal to our room when one of us was feeling sick. One of the owners is a chef, so breakfast was delicious! The pool was very nice and peaceful.

Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't an issue for me, because I knew where I'm going but I think it is worth to mention about it. Very expensive food, I was surprise that I have to pay so much for a burger. But the thing I didn't like the most was really narrow beds in twin room which caused that I couldn't sleep properly because I was affraid that I fall down from bed.

Great location..Very close to the beach for surfing and sunning. Cool vibe boutique hotel that attracts a diverse crowd of international guests. It has fun 'Gilligan's Island' type individual villas with super comfy beds and shaded front porches and a central pool area. Breakfasts were terrific and plentiful.Totally enjoyed our stay.
