It was lovely!

The site itself is stunning, gorgeous architecture, interior and immaculate gardens. We had a 1 bed pool villa with its own front door and little garden area, it was so beautiful. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the hotel arranged an airport pick up for us, our driver Wayan Artha was brilliant!! He became our driver for the rest of our trip, taking us to Ubud and then taking us back to the end of our trip. The car was immaculate and he always found the speediest route to avoid the traffic! He told us so many interesting things about the country, history and way of life. Thank you Wayan Artha! The food and drinks at the hotel was really lovely too, the breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Juli was a brilliant waitress greeting us every time we ate at the restaurant. We took the shuttle to Balangan Beach everyday which was super easy to organise and the beach was one of our favourites on the peninsula as my husband got to surf a lot!! We stayed at 4 hotels in Bali and Nusa Lembongan over our 2 week trip, this was our favourite and we only wish we had stayed for longer!

The hotel's location wasn't the best with few restaurants/shops around, you need a taxi/motorbike to get to the restaurants/shops of Bingin. It would be great if there was a water fountain in the main pool area so that guests could self serve on water and not have to order water from the bar and/or buy bottled water, which as you would imagine can add up in terms of cost over a week or so. The gym could be improved and did not meet expectations for this type of hotel, it is a small outside gym without cardio machines and I'd say that it misses a fair bit of standard gym equipment.

Beautiful villas and very lovely staff. The pools in the villa and as part of the main resort were lovely. Staff were wonderful, always at hand to help if required, and were also easily accessible via whatsapp which was great! It was also great having a free shuttle down to Balangan beach! We also had a lovely meditation session during our stay!

The customer service was simply exceptional. Whilst it is remote, I loved the quietness that came with the location. I read a few average reviews before I came, which left me a bit worried. So this is why I have taken time to write this review. For other folks who were expecitng a 5 star hotel, Im unsure why you had these expectations. We ate out a few times at the Alila. Thats a 5 star hotel and cost almost 6 times the price of the Cross Breakers. For those reviewers who had unrealistic expectations for the price they paid, I can see how this would not be the place for you. But we loved it. The staff were simply wonderful (better than staff from our day at the Four Seasons). The resort was exceptionally clean. We stayed here for close to 14 days and had no desire to leave. Its a santcuary. And look it wont be long until the resorts needs a lick of paint and upgrade, but I understand that after close to three years of no revenue the business needs to trade before taking on these renovations. And Ill also point out that coat of paint on a wall doesnt really affect us for a short period of time. So please go and enjoy the wonderful hospitality of this place.

Wifi speed and coverage can be improved. Inside the room sometime we don’t get stable network connection.

Great service, great facility. Bed, bathroom and pool are comfortable and clean. Very peaceful and relaxing environment. We enjoy our stay and definitely will come back again someday. During our stay, we met Yuli, one of the front desk staff, who was very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were very quick and easy.

the whole family loved the stay the two bedrooms villa with the nice private pool made our stay extra special. the staff are very friendly and nice , welcoming us with a lovely smile always . the restaurant have a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious, the staff were very friendly. a special thanks for Yuli at the reception for her continuous help and care.

Exceptional service by the staff and management. My highlight would have to be the early breakfast on our departure. We were provided with a breakfast box early morning at 4AM as we were not going to be have to have breakfast at the cafe due to our early flight. My husband and I were so grateful to the amazing staff who were ready to help whenever they can and greeted us by our names every time. Will forever remember this trip. Thank you for your hospitality!

Staying at Cross Breakers Bali was a relaxing and lovely experience with fantastic facilities. All the staff were extremely friendly and respectful. Sari was especially a big part of making this experience amazing. She was always demonstrating exceptional customer service, was open to conversation and always had an easy going nature that us Australians love. A number of the staff made my birthday very special by organising surprise desserts for breakfast and dinner, and organising for the live band to sing me a jazz/soulful happy birthday song. The band was so talented! I’d list the band name and tell you all to listen to their music if I knew it! The management of our stay was very well organised by numerous staff. Yuli clearly communicated about the phenomenal services and activities offered.

it was a secluded and didn’t have much surrounding it. we needed to get a scooter or taxi everywhere. If you love to stay in the resort and not do anything this is great :) This isn’t a negative to the resort.

such a beautiful property with multiple pools, gym and very friendly staff. Nothing was too much effort and the staff always were accommodating to us. Remembered our names & order. one time we asked for something that wasn’t on the menu and they had made it. I don’t think I could fault it ! We had a private villa with a pool and I think that was definitely a good choice. if we wanted to sunbake or if it was raining we could enjoy our own little space and enjoy each other’s company. The food was go die for. On our last day Kiki came to us and knew we were checking out. thanked us for our stay and asked what we had planned for the day. We had a really late flight at 11.30pm and told her this. Kiki let us know we could stay in our room till 6pm that way we could enjoy our last day and not worry about luggage. she organised it for us which was the most thoughtful thing and took so much stress away from figuring where to keep our luggage for the day. the little things made out stay and It was a beautiful stay x

The signage to actually getting to the hotel was not great!! Please put up some more physical directions.. this was our only issue.

We were grandparents plus family of 4 with two children under 5 in a 2 bed pool villa. We asked for a cot and there it was.. all ready to go. From reception on arrival to the size and cleanliness of the villa this place is a find. It was fab. The children woke early and played in the plunge pool. Breakfast started at 7 and was absolutely excellent.. especially staff. All in all a brilliant stay. We had supper in the evening and the food was great, prompt and delicious. Drinks delivered quickly and everything with a big smile. We will be back of course when we next visit Bali as only 35-40 mins to airport.

the staff was amazing, i loved them. we had a villa with private pool so that was perfect for our honeymoon. the staff also orginized honeymoon stuff in our room with flowers in our bathroom. the hotel drove us to Balanga beach and picked us up. 10/10

No negatives really other than any additional service was quite pricey but that’s to be expected at a high end place like this.

we’d never stayed in ultimate luxury before and this didn’t disappoint, from the amazing staff to the incredible room and private pool, we got to sunbath naked allday which you would never do! Also for anyone working it’s fantastic wifi in the room and the grounds. They also have a great cross fit gym, multiple pools with bars which are all great aswell. Really relaxing and it makes a great honeymoon location and an unreal wedding venue as it has a chapel.
