Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LuxembourgAircon or some fan noise (not from my room) was going most of night each night but after a couple of nights it became like white noise and ear plugs helped. I would only consider this a small negative as noises can't always be prevented.
Hotel is lovely, even when busy it doesn't feel too crowded. Staff are excellent, pleasure to deal with. Location is excellent, just a short walk from the centre and good bus routes. Rooms are lovely, well laid out and comfortable bed. Bar is a great spot for meeting family and friends. This is my second time spending Christmas (stayed for 9 nights as added on 2 more to original booking) at the Dylan and hopefully it won't be the last.

United KingdomEven though the room was lovely, the pillows were hard and very uncomfortable. And I'm not talking about the presentation pillows. They were so uncomfortable that we didn't sleep well at all. The bathroom was also a continuous hot, hot, hot temperature, that wasn't really needed. I don't like moaning about stuff like this but when you stay in a 5 star hotel, you expect the best. Especially when you and your partner only manage one night away together a year. Oh, our view was also obscured with the pillars at the front of the hotel. So really, zero view. The full breakfast in the morning wasn't great either. Stick to the yogurts, granola and eggs.
Location was amazing, a 10 min walk from the city centre. Staff were great and very friendly. Our cocktail before dinner in the city was a nice start to the evening. Our room was also lovely.

United KingdomWe did wait a little while for our drinks in the lounge and we had to move rooms as we had asked for a twin not double. Once in the correct room it was lovely, clean and comfortable. The shower drain was blocked but I’m sure would have been easily solved had we contacted reception. It was just too late and I was too tired so used the bath instead.
Location and boutique feel. The staff were warm and welcoming

IrelandOnly issue was the layout of getting to our room, we had to go through lots of corridors and it was a little confusing. But it’s an old building and things to be expected.
The location. Decor. Bed was extremely comfortable.

IrelandI felt for the price the mini bar could have had minerals and snacks as complimentary. The room while fabulous just felt a little tucked away and there was noise outside the window. Beds were superb. The reception was also top class.
Our room was on the ground. It was beautiful but I had imagined it would be a little bigger. The price did not include breakfast which I missed on the booking. I had expected breakfast for the price I was paying. Location was perfect.
