Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing that I didn't like, but the bathroom could do with a little TLC.
Have booked at Whites several times and have never been disappointed. Staff are friendly, with excellent customer service skills. The food in the Library Bar, as always, was perfect and well presented. The extensive breakfast choice certainly sets you up for a day's wandering.

IrelandStaff neglected to clean tables outside restaurant area. We sat in foyer with drinks between 9.30-11pm and table opposite us laden with empty bottles and glasses and crisps and crisp bag thrown on floor. Number of staff passed it beside the lift area. Breakfast was good but we only got directed to a table and had to navigate ourselves. . Brief direction would’ve been helpful. We had no idea where we were meant to queue or find tea and coffee facilities. It seemed disorganised
Receptionist very welcoming. Precise with directions to room and facilities. Service with a smile Room very clean and bed and sheets very comfortable.

IrelandMore signage needed in the hotel. The maitre d' was friendly at breakfast and directed us to our table but gave us no more information regarding the breakfast. We were unsure if it was a buffet or if our order would be taken. The self-service coffee machines were dispensing hot chocolate only. Bathroom in suite was very unimpressive. No full length mirrors or vanity mirror. Check out was very busy, only one staff member on check out. She was very friendly but very busy. Younger staff were very polite and helpful but would benefit from better training to improve their knowledge of the hotel and its services.
Great location. Super views. Tasty food. Nice cocktails. Large room (junior suite). Comfortable bed. Bar staff were attentive and helpful.

IrelandBed mattress was past it's best, felt like it had been used as a trampoline by someone's naughty sprogs. The coffee produced by the breakfast room coffee machine was undrinkable. These damned machines are spreading throughout hotels across Europe and are a curse, it's probably all about saving on staff. Please bring back the insulated pot of coffee delivered to my table. Finally, the route to my room was torturous, up a ramp, down small stairs; very poor for a modern hotel. Who was the architect?
Friendly and efficient staff, room clean, good location in centre of Wexford town and close to the event I attended, breakfast was good (apart from the coffee). Parking in basement under hotel.

IrelandAfter the above incident, I was glad to lea ve
I had difficulty sleeping due to an attached room who had their television high pitch sound from 2 o'clock to 4.30 am and prevented me from getting a good night sleep. I complained at reception when checking out and got an apology but to late the harm was done. I questioned why I was put into a twin room with an attached door. I felt hard done by considering the amount was charged.

IrelandThe only thing I thought was a little off putting was the charge for the car park. Although €5 is minimal, we both thought that as it is the hotel's own car park, it didn't seem appropriate to charge.
Everything was lovely. We ate in the bar and we both thought the food was delicious and the breakfast the following morning equally so.

Toilet was broken Extractor fan didnt work Bath mat was full of mould Room was dark Dinner menu - one veggie option - curry or a starter salad which I had. Breakfast - Lots of choice but not very nice.
Central location Parking on site at reasonable rate Nice bar area Nice coffee shop area Free water and biscuits in room. They did try to help when we pointed out problems and when we came back to (pre-booked) at the end of our stay they upgraded us to a much nicer room and gave us complimentary chocolates and prosecco
