Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandWe were there for a family funeral we checked in late at night, approximately 3 mins before the food service in the bar finished..the lady at the desk told us go stright to the Bar and then come back and check in..when we got to the bar we were greeted by an extremely welcoming staff member. Lead to a table and handed our menus..we were hungry and tired we got a lovely hot meal and we were even offered dessert...which we did not expect, especially when we arrived as kitchen was closing..they went out of their to make us feel comfortable, no one appeared disgruntled by our late presence..I would highly recommend whites and have praised its facilities, staff, food and rooms to all the staff i work with. It was exceptionally value for money..and definitely be back again.

IrelandRoom was too small .... Smell in corridor on the 4th floor was sickening We decided as parents of 4 small girls and a very rare night away we would get breakfast delivered to the room as a treat. We left out our request on the door around 11pm our food never arrived ...when we checked outside the request was still on the handle of the door .....when we tried call reception the room phone wasn't working pretty disappointing to be honest
Staff were so helpful and very friendly to deal with

United KingdomUnfortunately, we had a disappointing stay. We spoke with the manager, Renata, during check out, rather than just write a poor review. We booked a double room through Booking.com. We were placed on floor 600. The lifts only go from 100-500, so we discovered 600 is down a stairs. Our bedroom view was the underground car park. Going to the Library Bar for a meal, we waited 40 minutes to get served, to no avail. Only the busy barman served us. On leaving, we had to tell the floor manager what our drinks order were, in order to pay our bill. There seemed to be little organisation. In the morning, we found the corridor on the basement level (600) quite cool, as was the lobby. On checking out we passed on on concerns to the manager, Renata. We were told our double room price was for the type of double room we had stayed in, and that other rooms would cost more. We explained that we would have liked to have known this, as we were not to know we were booking a basement room on the site. The manager acknowledged this was understandable. We departed Whites feeling like second class guests. We suggest potential guests consider paying more for a room upgrade in case you get sent to rooms on 600, alternatively, consider booking elsewhere.
This hotel is well located just around the corner (100 metres) from the main street. It has a modern façade and looks well inside. Reception is well laid out, there are many modern seating areas in the lobby. There is a swimming pool located in an adjacent building. Additionally, there is a library bar that offers a meal service. The breakfast provided is in line with most hotels. The hotel manager (Renata) is pleasant, polite and available if there are issues to discuss.
