Proximity to the glacier and hiking trail right behind the hotel (we saw the arctic fox there). Front desk staff super friendly. Huge parking lot.

Great location, just a few minutes from the Skaftafell visitor centre. Staff was friendly and professional. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great.

The location was great, you have the glacier behind the hotel, you are in a few minutes with the car to skaftafell visitor Center. Breakfast was also good, there is a Restaurant where you can take dinner. A little expensive but given that there are not so much possibilities to eat, it was acceptable.

The price we paid was fairly high compared to the quality of other hotels in Iceland.

Great location for Skaftafell National Park or as a stopover during a road trip. Rooms were comfortable if a little dated/basic in design. Staff were friendly and we were allowed to check in very late after a long day of driving. Check out time wasn’t too early either. Good buffet breakfast with some hot options. Fantastic views to wake up to!

We had a room with two seperate beds. But it was no problem for one night.

Very friendly receptionists who made us feel welcome. They have this GREAT service: the Northernlights call. When you want, the reception gives you a call when Northernlights are visible! Also in the middle of the night! That made me so happy! The walk to the glacier behind the hotel is one not to miss and beautyful. Dinner and breakfast were very good.

The bar was always unattended on both nights we were there, so you have to go downstairs and ask reception to find someone to serve you.

great location with views across to the glacier. There is an enjoyable one hour hike behind the hotel that goes close to the ‘Hollywood’ glacier. the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The dinner was high quality, albeit usual Icelandic prices. There are cheaper options for food at the roadhouse across the road.

Stayed here as a family of 4 after a long day of driving and afternoon of glacier hiking. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast included is a huge bonus!!!

There was no staff around on duty, and nobody picked up the contact number or answered any emails. My group paid for breakfast but it was not prepared and we could not find anyone from the hotel to verify this.

It was noisy because of Chinese tourists, and it was not the type of room (bed size, number) requested.

The room was a bit like a demountable, with a very basic bathroom. It’s fine, but just a bit expensive for what you get.

The location was good, so it’s close to hiking and to the glacier lagoon also. The only thing is there is not much nearby so you need to plan to eat at the hotel or the gas station cafe it owns opposite it.

The location was excellent, right next to the meet up point for our hike on the glaciar. Besides, the bedroom had an amazing view of the mountain, from where we could see the northern lights! The breakfast was good as well and the staff was very nice.
