Good location for our 1 night stay

The hotel located in the central of the city. The parking was free, so I could park the car at the hotel and went to several attractions on foot. The breakfast was superb, with alternative milk available. The room and bathroom were clean and new. One thing I did’t like was the shower enclosure, which was too small so that the bathroom floor was always wet during showering.

No apparent ventilation in the room with out opening outside door onto communal balcony, totally steamed up otherwise after shower. Hotel was not especially friendly

the room was very spacious with comfy bed, very quiet at night time, nice bathroom and toiletries provided. good to have kettle for tea, coffee. the breakfast was good and always kept topped up. Parking available. Great location - very handy for sights, shopping and restaurants

Location was excellent - just off the main shopping street, and within 15 mins walk of most main sights in the city itself. Breakfast was great - classic Icelandic buffet. Parking was an added bonus. Spaces outside and in their own parking garage beneath the hotel. Easy to drive to.

Location was great, having a covered parking was very convenient, my room was #320 and it had an access to the balcony. The place was clean and comfortable.

Rooms were quite small and dark for the price. Iceland in the winter is a dark place typically but the dark decor really compounded the lack of light.

Loved the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, both at the front desk and the breakfast crew. Good walkable location.

Great location for walking around Downtown Reykjavík, but near enough to the edge that driving out of town was quick and easy. Parking garage in the basement was small, but there was always a spot. Bar in the lobby was very cute. Breakfast buffet wasn’t huge, but had nice array of choices. Super comfortable beds in small, but nicely arranged room.

This is one of those hotels where the emphasis is on “mood lighting“. As a result, the room is quite dark. I asked for an additional lamp from the reception and they told me that they do not have any available and that it is part of the aesthetic or atmosphere that they are looking to maintain. A pity, we ended up having to use the torch on our phone to find some things in the room. Our room was on the third floor and there was very little water pressure in the shower. It did not help that the reception staff did not seem interested to help fix any of our issues. Also keep in mind that this hotel does not provide any safe in its rooms and no fridge.

Table of washroom is defect. Although it doesn't have any effects for using, just leave a bad impression.

The people of reception are very kind. Breakfast is also good.
