I thought the bed was uncomfortable because the mattress was thin but this was really the only negative I have.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel! The staff and owners really went out of their way to make sure guests had a positive experience and were provided with everything they might need to enjoy Palermo. I enjoyed the spaciousness of the rooms, the quality of the bathrooms, and all the common spaces available to socialize with other travelers. They also had plenty of space to do laundry and hang clothes to dry and the location of the property was a great, safe area.

Street is quite noisy. But it is not their fault. :) You can take a free earplugs from reception that helps.

That's the one of the best hostels I stayed. Very clean, fresh air in the rooms with good working AC. Friendly staff, good environment, friendly visitors and community. Full of music instruments that you can play, drinks, breakfast, clean kitchen. Enough WC and shower that you never waited for empty one. I really like that place and I am sure I will stay there again.

The room was basic, but clean, it had air conditioner and a lot of space to leave all the stuff. The bathroom was also clean. The location is amazing since you can walk to the city centar.

for some reason my bed wasn’t changed at all during the week but that could’ve been my fault (maybe I was sleeping when they came round)

The one piece of feedback I would give them is to fix the drain in the men’s shower.

It may not have been the fanciest hostel I have stayed at but it was definitely the most hospitable with the best staff team. They were really kind and helpful with recommendations. It felt more like a house than a hotel. They also serve a very hearty breakfast for cheap.

Honestly, I’ve got nothing to complain about!

While looking for accommodation in Palermo, A Casa di Amici was one of the possible options, and I’m so glad I chose it. I loved it since the moment I stepped in. The staff is very welcoming and helpful from the moment you make the reservation. The location couldn’t be better! Very easy to get to from the airport, just a ca 10 min walk from Lolli train station. The atmosphere at the hostel is wonderful! They’ve got a very cosy common area, garden and kitchen, organise daily activities, and serve breakfast for a very cheap price - they also have a vegan option with rice crackers, juice, fruits, nut mix and coffee with rice milk, which was much appreciated!

The only thing I didn't like was that they rented out a lot of beds for a class of 15/16 year olds, which made it more difficult to find people in your own age to hang out with.

Absolutely the best hostel I've ever been. As the name says it really felt like I was at my friends' house. It starts off impressive when you see all the musical instruments in the reception, the nice cozy patio and the very well setup common room and kitchen. But it's the hosts that win your heart. Interesting people always ready with advice and a good joke. Thanks Tomaž for rescuing my glasses. The patio is an amazing place to sit down and meet other guests over a slice of pizza and a beer. As for the room, even tho it was a 6 bed doorm, it was really spacious and I slept super comfortably.

Great place and cool vibes, staff are very friendly and there is everything you could need. It's on a main street so the cars are load, but they give you ear plugs when you ask for some. Overall, I highly recommend the place

The only thing which can be annoying is the noise from the street at night. So if you prepare your self with good earplugs you won't be bothered to much, you can get some from the reception as well.

The staff is amazingly friendly and always endeavored with any matters. There were always kindly people around to socialize with. The room and the bathroom were cleaned every day. The shuttle bus to the airport is just a 5 minutes walk. It was my first trip alone and first time to stay in a hostel. I was all in all happy to made this experience in this hostel which I highly would recommend.
