It was a bit of a walk from the center of the city

Great views from both rooms and the Terrace. Room 8 has outstanding views of the Duomo. It was close to a museum to Santa Catarina. Nice hosts.

Not something we didn't like about the Albergo Bernini, but a fact of life--Although we hadn't thought about it prior to staying here, one of the "hazards" that accompanies travel is the chance of bedbugs arriving with other guest's luggage. A note reminded us not to put our suitcases on the beds to prevent the spread.

A wonderful balcony with a beautiful view to the top of the city was located just around the corner from our pretty basic room, and we enjoyed the view a couple of times. One evening it was pouring rain, and an awning had been rolled out to cover the patio, which made it very cozy. Location was part way up the hill, and we were able to take a bus and wind our way through the narrow streets to the location. Kitchen area had hot water and tea.

It’s an old historical building and everything inside makes you feel like in other times. It’s charming its way. Everything is very authentically old. The biggest jewel of this hotel is its terrace. You can take the best panoramic photos there. Also there is sunset view from the terrace which makes the feeling unforgettable.

Excellent. No frills, but everything you need for a short stopover. Centrally situated. You get a breathtaking view from the terrace, which all guests can access. Eugenie made everything most convenient.

The lady we met was very helpful and keen to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. We were at the end of a cycle tour of Tuscany and safe storage of the bikes was no problem. The hotel has a rooftop terrace with a superb view of the cathedral, we were invited to bring takeaway food back so we were able to have dinner and breakfast the following morning with an exceptional view. This hotel is excellent value for money.

Bathroom is very old but immaculate clean. I guess it is impossible to hope for a modern bathroom in this old city.

There’s nothing to say here other than I would say that we only got one set of keys and after a day of me and my daughter being out and about, I realized I should just ask for a second set of keys so that we could each come and go as we pleased, and they gladly obliged. I would just simply have your own bathroom if that’s something that is of interest.

Let me tell you something. If I had only stayed in this hotel in the heart of Siena for the three days we were there I would have enjoyed sienna so much because this hotel is right in the heart of it. It has more beautiful decks and open spaces to relax and hang out and play the board games or read the books that they have available. They have free coffee and tea and everything is so well appointed, this space is not to be missed. You will not be disappointed. Again if I had just stayed in the hotel for three days, I would’ve had the time of my life, it is impossible to explain. we did the shared bathroom option which worked out just fine and there were never anybody else in there so a number of the rooms also have their own private bathroom.

Fan is only helping that much when it's very hot outside.

Unfortunately the lack of an air conditioner in summer makes the rooms very hot - the fans don’t really go fast enough either to make up for it

The property had an excellent view and the host was so nice - she also provided lots of stuff for our use out on the balcony and for other food such a water, cups, bottle openers etc and she was very welcoming
