the rooms we had were hard to get to… had to take three different elevators and walk through different levels to get to reception area or the restaurant.We were not able to have dinner there because there were large tour groups and had no space for us

The walk into the town is not well lit from the hotel. The option of a Tuk tuk would be a good addition. There isn’t an option to have an outdoor cocktail in the evening. The only thing you can get is from the pool bar served in a plastic cup. The hotel could really do with a nice outdoor bar area in the evening.

The bar facilities were not to the standard expected, the only bar regularly open was the pool bar next to the restaurant that insisted on supplying drinks in plastic cups,during the day around the pool this is acceptable but in the evening by the restaurant area, to have cocktails and other drinks served in plastic is not acceptable. It would have been good to have more than four coat hangers per bedroom.

Beautifully situated, spacious bedrooms with balcony, large well maintained swimming pool, very good breakfast with lots to choose from. We ate in the hotel restaurant for two nights,the daily menu gave three choices for each course, excellent quality with attentive staff. A great shuttle service to a local beach with all amenities well worth a visit.

Our biggest complaint was the extremely tiny and outdated shower where you could hardly turn without bumping your elbows, certainly for a 4-star hotel that claims to be the biggest Spa wellness resort in the whole region! Our room was located at the very end of the resort and we had to walk many stairs in a labyrinth to get there. The staff at the reception was a little too formal at check in and check out. Ordering at the swimming pool was quite a task...bar was mostly unattended due to the fact that the only bartender had to deliver room service.

Location was excellent to visit Otranto, beautiful town with its harbor, beach and small shops and restaurants. Breakfasts and evening menus were excellent, cooked with care, love for traditional dishes. Special thank you to Carmen and Matteo for their friendliness. The cleaning ladies did a fantastic job. Our room was always spotless. Airco worked well. Hotel parking always available. Location was excellent to reach surrounding beaches and towns. Supermarkets in the neighborhood. Little gem in town the White House Restaurant! We recommend visiting Santa Maria di Leuca!

A few small things to pay attention to the guest experience would greatly help this hotel. The hotel does little to engage with guests little or no effort is made during your stay. No bar facilities and when it does open and you ask for a drink you get it in plastic cups. The hotel needs to offer guests glasses for drinks, its basic! Feels like they are cutting costs. breakfast can be very busy and the buffet changed only once over the week. The last day was fine but some days it was hard to get a table or coffee. Room cleaning late each day, but good. Would be nice if it was done before lunch. A few simple touches and effort to improve service and experiences would greatly enhance this hotel. Also we asked for 2 rooms beside eachother as a family. The rooms were on different floors at opposite ends which was not ideal.

Lovely hotel, good location just south of Otranto. Pool is immaculate, facilities very clean. Great lifeguard all week! Overall grounds are really lovely and groundskeepers are there each day . Great work.

A bit disappointed with the breakfast, since there weren't any fresh options. There was some fruits but you had to cut and peel them. Pool was closed 13-15 which was a bit boring but maybe a normal thing in Italy.

The superior room was super nice and spacious. The hotel was clean and the staff was polite and helpful. The pool area was also nice with the bar. Lunch was easy to get and enjoy by the pool.

Pool side food choices could be improved

Very friendly staff and helped decide on local attractions to visit. Really lovely setting and gardens and a short walk into the gorgeous town to enjoy fabulous local restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

We upgraded the room to include a balcony. It was worth doing as it was a quiet room too. Modern Décor, comfortable bed, excellent food, wine and friendly staff. Location is good as it was only a ten minute walk to the old town. We arrived early and were able to check in early. This was really appreciated and made for a very good start to our holiday.
