Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaA few changes to suit modern requirements will make this hotel exceptional. A modern business traveler will need a dependable wifi in the rooms. We carry gadgets beyond just a laptop, so one power outlet in a double occupancy room is certainly less. The staff were sincere, but lacked training in hospitality - small things like keeping us waiting while they attended to long phone calls. Windows have unusual steel rolling shutters, a small card on "how to operate" would be useful. Differentiating smoking and non smoking rooms would be useful. And please, don't insist on guests having to purchase drinking water! Especially where the owner is a veteran endurance runner!!
The location is unbeatable! The hotel has perhaps seen better days, but is still good for a working visit (except for the wifi). The owner's trophies as an endurance runner is displayed very nicely and tell a fascinating story. Room was clean, functional, as was the included breakfast.

United KingdomOn check in person was more interested in his phone than checking us in. Room was a but cold and heater not keen on changing that. Breakfast was fine on first morning but on second morning was a different person and he didn't replenish anything. There were no spoons, knives or any cheese or ham. Whole hotel needs modernising, was more like Fawlty Towers than any other hotel I've stayed in. Was overpriced for what it was.
Bed was comfortable and breakfast was generally good. Very convenient for the railway station and a useful place to stay if visiting Rome as trains cheap and run hourly. Room wascold but found some blankets, the next day the staff then made up bed using blankets, which was appreciated.

United KingdomWould have been nice if the restaurant was open but we were there before the peak season started, so understandable it was closed and only a short [10 minute] walk into town with a number of places to eat.
Room was basic but very clean. The Hotel is close to the station and my room faced towards the station so it got a bit noisy at times, not from the trains but from all the cars picking up people who seemed to think it OK to sound their car horns even in the middle of the night! The breakfast was a very good self-service breakfast with all the normal foods you get in Europe [meat/cheese/breads/pastries/cakes/yoghurt/cereals/juices and coffee]

AustraliaHotel was a good option, as we wanted to stay outside Rome. Opposite the train station, which was a bonus. Hotel is dated, it is not an overseas tourist hotel, with little to do around Hotel in the evening. Breakfast is very sweet. Overall we were happy with our stay.

ItalyIt was freezing cold. Heating was broken only blew cold air. there was a broken jacuzzi in the bathroom and all the bits were badly rusted and falling off. There was no shower so we did not even bath because parts of the over flow pipe was on the side of the bath and there was no plug. There were no extra pillows or blankets. You always had to look for the staff. And I can’t believe they have 4 stars and don’t have WiFi!
I liked that it was clean

SpainWhen i arrived to the hotel, there was nobody in recpetion. They gave me a room that was dirty ( bed and bath tub with insects) with no heating and no quilt ( we are in mid november, it’s freezing. It has been my worst night. I went down to the bar at 20:30 for something to drink and eat. It was closed and all that appeared to be the staff where in the tables eating what appeared to be a deliveroo and watching tv as if they were at home instead of working at a hotel. Then, the mini bar of the room was empty so i had to go outside the hotel for just a bottle of water. Finally, the breakfast buffet offers the most poorly options to have. There was no coffee or the. if you want orange juice, you have to make it yourself. there is no even proper cuttlery. They give you plastic glasses and plastic spoons. This is no 4 stars hotel. I am not even sure if it could make a 2 stars.
there is nothing to like.

New ZealandThis is barely a 3 star hotel and definitely not 4 star. Elderly belligerent gentleman at reception insisted we make payment which had already been made to Booking.Com. He only spoke Italian and we only speak English which added to an already uncomfortable experience.

United StatesWorst hotel I've ever stayed at. I knew going into it, that the cheap price meant I shouldn't expect much. But wow, not even in third world countries have I had such a terrible experience. I pre paid on booking.com yet when I arrived to check in, the man at the check in desk (who shoudln't work in hospitality) yelled at me because HE couldn't find my reservation. Asked yelling "why can't you people call"... I responded, I booked online. Then after walking through the disgusting hotel hallways, i reach my bedroom. It had flies, ants, and mosquitos. The toilet had pubic hairs in it. The bed smelled. The chair had brown stains on it. A nightmare. But didn't want to go deal with the yelling man at the lobby again. So I spent a few hours sitting on the nasty bed, killing bugs, then left.
Honestly, nothing. Worst hotel ever. The location is ok if you need to go to the train station.
