“No breakfast available at the hotel but you can buy a meal coup at a nearby cafe from the hotel. The hotel is quiet and near a subway station, very convenient for traveling.”
“The hotel is just a lovely short walk to the metro, making it super convenient! I just hope the staff warmly greets guests – a friendly touch can really brighten the experience! They seem to be scared to talk to us whenever we passed the reception.”
“I wouldn’t stay here again.
- the staff were exceptional, no dramas there
However;
Of all hotels we stayed in Japan, this was the worst of them. If you are not a couple, do NOT book this hotel. The bathrooms are made from glass, shower, toilet all, and the curtains do not cover the gaps - if you are with family or friends, they will see you naked and doing your business. It was very strange.
Our room smelt funny, the windows leaked water & was damp inside. There is no shared space, no access to microwaves or laundry rooms or anything of the sort. It’s abit far from station, about 10+ minutes walk.
Again, staff were nice - but wouldn’t ever stay here again.”
“Section L Yushima is in a great location — a quiet neighborhood yet still central. You can walk to Ueno or Akihabara in about 20 minutes. The staff is attentive, friendly, and very helpful.
The apartment has everything you need: a washing machine, kitchen, and bathtub.
Unfortunately, the beds weren’t very comfortable for us. The kitchen had only a few utensils, for 2 people it can be enough. Overall, I can definitely recommend Section L!”
“Hotel is old, but we'll designed for stay, providing utensils, laundry, micro etc. Only pain was not given room in higher floors though booked 2 months back. Missed view and good ventilation.
Close to Tokiwadai tobo lane railway, though far from narita airport, after 6 pm no reception , room service missing , faced english language problem of hotel staff , helpful though. Nice neighborhood, but missed Indian restaurant near by.”
